OMG, another unwanted Hunter thread.

Mr SMX Round 2, kinda a cringey name, but congrats to hunter.

It got overshadowed by the 250 fallout that got multiple threads.

I expected both a Hunter thread after his win and a Jett one after his first moto performance.

dude rode so good the first moto last night.  Textbook controlled the race and did what he needed to the second moto.  Stoked these “titles” are exciting 

Everytime someone does well they do not need a commemorative thread. 

A lot of you here need to understand this. 

What I don’t get is when people go “Really? No ____ thread?” 

No one’s stopping you from creating the thread. If you have something to say, say it. It’s not like there’s only a select number of people that can create a thread. And another thing that bugs me is each weekend someone creates a thread like “Shimoda” or “Tomac” and then it’s just like “good job Tomac ur the best”

Remember all the struggles he had before his championship year in 2023? Every single crash led to an injury pretty much, was close to retiring a couple years ago. Now he's a consistent top 2-3 450 guy. He is so frikkin impressive, sadly completely overshadowed by his brother, hope they're smart enough and never split up training together!

I still don’t think he’s peaked yet. He’ll likely be even faster next year in SX. 

Hunter is consistently under the radar. 
It doesn’t matter how many great rides he has, most people still rank him in the group behind Tomac and Sexton, despite him regularly beating them and probably being the guy who’s run with Jett more than anyone else. 
Looking forward to seeing him enjoying more success.

How many more titles would he have if he'd stormed in the room when he heard Mum and Dad 'wrestling'?  

As mentioned in the broadcast - unfortunate to be clearly the second best guy, when there is a rare and really fast guy in his prime. If Jet wasn’t riding Hunter would most likely have most the Championships that Jet won.

Being an Aussie, and Sunshine Coast local, I’m a huge fan of the “Hunta brothers”

I think, if anyone rises to the point of regularly beating Jet head to head, it will likely be Hunter. He seems to be capable of learning new things and constantly improving.

He is ranked behind Tomac and Sexton because they win races. Aside from SMX Hunters only 450 win was a result of Jetts jumping the gate oenalty. If he starts to get some wins next year perceptions will change.

Hunter has gotten a lot faster. 

You realise Tomac, Sexton and Chase are all tied for moto wins (2) this summer and only Hunter and Chase have one overall next to Jett, who won 9? Hunter actually beat Tomac in 15 out of the 22 motos this summer, believe it or not. Chase might still be the closest guy to Jett (when he's mentally there or healthy) but I'd definitely say Hunter is right there. Remember that's only his second year aswell.

Looks like the thought police are on scene.

Hunter is going to have some crazy and weird stats one day haha and it wont surprise any of us.

I consciously noticed him scrubbing arguably harder than he ever has on those bigger doubles yesterday. Could be wrong, but I feel like he is very comfortable in his set up, confidence is rising and is now turning up the intensity. We saw it last year also. 

Interesting watching moto 1 and following it on here. Lots of chatter about Tomac v Roczen (which is of course awesome), meanwhile out front #96 is quietly but consistently putting time on the whole field, save for Jett. 

Good for Hunter. It just seems the Lawrence fans are odd and cringey. 

Doesn’t get talked about enough. Guy has really established himself as a front runner. Really like this, Eli, Lawrence era. Guys seem to genuinely enjoy racing each other. 

Dude is arguably the second best rider in the sport. Yet because his brother is the best everyone kind of ignores his results. 

Even when he wins. Jett going 21st to 4th and within a bees dick of second place overshadows what he did. Fuck it must suck being the second best Lawrence no matter how hard you work snd thats what everyone knows you for and kind of sleeps on your achievements.

Why do some of you cling to this bullshit? 

Its because Aussie are killing it in the 450 class and futures.

They don't seem to have a lot of talent coming through.

I would rather see Cole Davies win everything. Deegan fans are just as cringey.

There’s nothing wrong with the Lawrences. Just because they don’t get talked about on here, doesn’t mean anything. Hunter’s making gobs of money just like Jett.
