Bro, I honestly think you invented that right here on this forum. When it played out that night in Vegas, I couldn't believe it was actually happening.
Deegan needs to do the same thing next weekend if he's in 1st with Jo behind him...Deegan usually has the speed over Jo to pull this off.

Yeah it could actually be a combo "bunch and punt" when Jo tries to pass.
I wouldn't hold it against either of them if they ran it in hard enough to take the other rider out. It's for the championship and I hope the AMA allows some aggressive riding and doesn't tip the scales one way or other.

Haha, and Eli almost pulled it off but I would say he was a bit more tame and I would call it more of a "bunch and bump" attempt. Deegan on the other hand, would likely be more like a "bunch and punt"
The only “punting” in that race was Anderson putting Reed into the cheap seats in the last turn.

And yeah, damn, he almost pulled it off. Did you really just think the "bunch 'em up" theory on your own? I remember reading your post earlier in the week and I thought it sounded far-fetched, but when it unfolded at the race, I thought Kawi had to have learned it here on Vital.
No I didn't think of bunching on my own I brought the concept over from my 4-wheel racing career. But I did bring the theory to modern day super cross knowing that Tomac had the speed to slow the pack and then re-pass if needed. As far as I know it hadn't been attempted yet in Supercross, but if it did maybe someone can chime in and point out which race it happened previously.
And I do have confirmation Kawi and Tomac camp learned of it from my infamous thread posted here earlier that week.

Jo tried to take out haiden the final round of smx in 23. Nothing wrong with returning it next weekend.
Reed was the fastest guy on the track at that stage and I thought he was going to steal one last win, but Ando owed him one and made sure Reedy wasn’t going to get involved in what was happening at the front. Between the events of the 250 class and Tomac’s bunching strategy, I still think that was the most entertaining night of SX I’ve ever seen. If we get anything like that next weekend, I’m all for it.

It's amazing how fickle the moto crowd is isn't it? Most of the Vitards love to talk tough, rubbing is racing, let's have some rivalries. Haiden rides aggressive, kicks ass and takes names and chirps about it while winning everything. He's hated. Kitchen who appears to be another prodigy going down the toilet makes a c class move and he is celebrated as bringing frontier justice over hurt feelings because Haiden is a big meanie lol.
the real hypocrisy is Deegan fans in this situation lol. They defend their guy every week by saying “sports going soft” and things of that nature. When someone gives him, what hes been dishing out they complain all across social media.

You guys miss the difference. Haiden does it over and over and has his whole career including amateurs. Kitchen does it once and it happens to be against Haiden who has made a career of it and the Deegan camp and their fan base loses their minds saying how unfair it is. It’s comical lol.
