Current riders: 2023 KTM 300SX 140hrs….its for sale😂

                        2024 KTM 350Sfx 70hrs ….keep this one until around 100-120hrs

Vintage/Evo riders: 1989 Honda CR250..10hrs since total rebuild…4hrs this season

                                1993 Honda Cr125…35hrs since total refresh/build …6hrs this season…

I have a bunch more Vintage / Evo bikes but the Honda”s are the only old bikes that are reliable enough to bring to a modern track & still get it done with minimal maintenance….like a newer bike….I usually average around 200hrs of riding a year, Mx and Gncc type tracks. Last few years has been tough with a junk knee thats needs TKR…IMG 7554 0.jpeg?VersionId=xsu5jWL3qlZ9U5FTc.zL3uIMG 7359 1

Its a 2005 yz250,  just 156 hours on it now, it’ll get torn down to the frame at 160. (I do that every 40 hours)

I ride a 2016 YZ125 as well , it probably has 250+ hours, it was someone’s serious race bike before I bought it

Some people put 40 hours on a bike and then sell to buy a new one to do all over again. Some will put 300-400 hours and then finally retire it as a back up bike and pick up a new one. Which one are you?

My 125 has about 160 hours on the frame and 20 on a fresh top to bottom end, my 150 was about the same before I tore it down.

145 Hours on my 2021 TC 300. Engine overhaul at 120 Hours .

Runs good think i will keep it also for 2026

I remember seeing something about frame hours back in the Geico Honda days. Each rider had a preference, so based on the team pecking order they got to pick the hours on their frame.  JMart liked frames with 7 hours if memory serves me correct.

2022 250XC has about 280 hrs I think, but hardly any in the last year and a half (I moved across the country for work and the bike is still back home).

250xc

Picked up a 2018 250SX out here which has 130 hrs, only 2 of those from me so far.  Been mostly building it up / getting it dialed and will race it next season.

25 KX250

19 hours on it, I’d like to shoot for 50 by the end of the year. This is my MX bike.

22 YZ250X

Just hit 60 hours on it, just rebuilt the suspension and I feel some play in the front wheel so time to do wheel bearings. Mostly just race it in Hare Scrambles so this bike has a harder life than my KX lol. Bought it with 40 hours on it, will probably hit 80 hours total by the end of the year.

Having two bikes for both disciplines is the way to go for sure.

My last hour meter died, but we’re on top end #13 now! I finally replaced the original wheels too. I did the restyle kit in 2017 and I'm starting to wear through the airbox 😬IMG 6555 1

100%, plus it’s nice if my moto bike is down for some reason I can always bring the woods bike to the moto track.

However vice versa I don’t see myself putting my KX250 through a woods race. That shits hard on a bike and I like having 1 clean, stiffer suspension, moto only bike lol.

Managed to hit 60hrs on my leftover 25 300SX….down in Florida from late November…used for Mx, hare scrambles and drills practice…..just had upper shock bearing replaced due to clanking….was hoping to get around 75hrs on her but I did ride my vintage evo bikes a bunch also this winter….I will do the full woods conversion on this one now & pick up a leftover 350 or 450, once I sell my current 24 350 with around 80-90hrs…IMG 8136 1
