Wasn’t sure if this was mentioned in another thread but any idea what bike is Tomac racing at WSX? With him doing rounds 3 and 4 at the end of November I assume if he’s going KTM he would want to be on the bike testing but with KTM usually not supporting the WSX will he still be on the Yamaha and then swap after leaving minimal prep on the new chassis for 2026 supercross. Anybody have any insight?

I was watching The Weege Show from Millville a handful of years ago, and in passing, Weege asked Johnny T if he could climb Mt Martin on his mountain bike. Without missing a beat, John goes "probably." Dude's gnarly enough that I believe he probably could.
And slalom.
Any chance you watched slalom in Durango at worlds that year? Remember a 15 year old kid getting fastest quali?
Do you know the specific date his Yamaha contract expires?
Contracts in the US typically end Oct 1st. Accomodations are made since he's racing MXdN, that's why Eli will be on Yamaha and Chase on KTM for that event.

On a somewhat related note, do we know if Webb and/or Cooper will be on the ‘26 YZ450F for SMX?
One thing i'm curious about is Tomac's hatred of the hydraulic clutch. There's no way KTM will run a cable for him. So I'm interested to see what he shows up with.

I don't see why KTM would balk at putting a cable clutch on for Eli. In fact, I bet it's been discussed already.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s asked but I really doubt they would do that.
Obviously, this makes the most sense to prep for 2026 SX. But for me, it sort of takes away the excitement of the debut come A1.
Accomodations, because they are part from the US squad, and the event takes place in America. Usually, there are no accomodation for anyone (wich is a pity!).
Because of SMX most contracts are now set up to end after SMX
It will still be exciting I think because the field will be entirely different and if anything it will make his debut more exciting cause he’ll have some racing experience on the bike and hopefully have a set up that is decent.
I heard KTM has expressed interest in wsx unlike years past. so i would think they use wsx to get him comfy and find some settings
