Maybe he’s banged up and maybe not, but he’s definitely over riding the KTM. 

They accidentally put the Braktec stuff on Chase’s bike.

I would be out for 12 months if I crashed like that.

Even if he was totally fine could you really blame him for not racing the last two rounds? 

I think a few here called this.  Hopefully he's fully recovered both physically and mentally for MXoN.

Adrenaline….its a great drug….I broke my fibula up near my knee, right below knee brace in a stupid crash, I was so pissed  off knowing I was done for 2 months, I went out & did 2 20 minute motos….later that nite it started to really hurt😂

As a man you honor your word and do your job… seen a lot guys this year doing a lot of whining… I’d imagine the whining won’t stop on the new bike. And I’m a Sexton fan 

If he was truly totally fine ? Yes . It's his job . 

Nice to mention his mechanic in the post. I think we need to cut these young men a little slack for their behavior “in the moment” - potentially less than “statesmen like” full of adrenaline and just been “rag dolled” down the track….

We all make mistakes - it’s what we do next that defines us.

The other end of that contract is the expectation that you're given a bike that won't put you on the ground..... I get fulfilling the contract, doing your job, etc, but that has it's limits too. If he was just mailing it in he wouldn't have been out there the last couple of rounds to begin with.

Chase has lost all credibility, im a big chase fan but honestly this season has done me in. He's going to Kawi and the issues will continue and all blame for the last few years will be lumped harder on chase.

If he was over the KTM completely, he wouldn't be racing des Nations - see 2023 for precedent. 

Not here at vitalmx.  These members are well respected doctors, psychologists, physics professors, lawyers, tv commentators, race analysts, trainers, dieticians, and on top of that, have what could be called, perfect race craft.  They remain cool and calm in the heat of battle, which they draw from their Navy Seal training, and basically are as complete as human evolution can take them.

His career, his choice.  Hopefully he heals up and is 100% for SMX. Best of luck, Chase!  

Disappointed because he is the only real challenge for Jett outside of the starting gate. 

I don’t know how you can crash that hard and not be banged up. But with how quickly he got up and tried to get going again I was hopeful he was fine.

Either way I respect the guys talent and toughness. If he isn’t injured and just doesn’t want to ride the KTM. I can respect that too because he has had a couple nasty crashes where the bike looked atleast partially at fault. 

...disappointing that Chase and his dad have decided to stop racing until the playoffs.  

 Clearly he is over his time at KTM.  I don't think you would see the same behavior from the Lawrence team in the same situation.

I hope that Monster Energy Kawasaki has stocked up on Tylenol, because it will be nothing but headaches in 2026 for that team..

It’s really a good thing Chase can ride like he does, and most of these other guys too, because he sure has shit for brains and would not last a minute in the real world. What a bitch.
