I do remember winning races against RC after RC was in cruise mode. BUT!!! Reed never raced Stewart tough. He has zero passes for wins against James. He never beat him once in 8 yrs of racing. He was treated like a lapper by James.

With that said, Reed had some great yrs and got 2 titles when the best riders were hurt.

With the talent getting better in the big bike class he does not matter anymore.

RMZ. let me help you understand MX/SX.
Example, Indy SX 2009: James blows the right hander before the finish with Chad on his rear fender. Chad passes James while James is going really slow. Chad wins the race. If James had made it through that corner faster, he may have won. I know moments like those have made you bitter, but really, everything is ok, we all know James is awesome.

And I'm glad that therapy is helping with the " !!!!!!!!!! " problem. Hang in there, buddy

Uh... Reed never could hang with RC or Stewart thats why he cried all the time because he could never beat them back then. Also the ONLY time he won his supercross championships was when RC or Stewart were out with injurys.

Not a REED fan but in MOTO1 at Millville in 2002, REED took bubba to school passed him for the W. Besides Bubba crashed all the time and Reed beat him, crashing is part of racing there big guy.

Although harsh, this is somewhat true. Reed is not a threat for a championship imho. Can anyone here HONESTLY say he is a threat against RV, RD, JS, CP, TC and others? I think he might get a win here or there maybe but staying on the podium every race is doubtful. The statements made about him winning titles only when others were hurt is true too however that is why you race. The fastest guy doesn't always win. Just look at RD this year. Do you think he would have won either title IF RV stayed healthy? Heck no. Not a chance.

I am just hoping for some good old racing with all of them ready to do battle and let the best man win! and i am betting we see some more DNF's from the #7 this year dude just wants money the riding is not for him he just needs to kick rocks!

I am still wondering how some of you feel he is not a championship threat and RV is considered one. Reed is proven. Villopoto is not. Yet I still feel he is a threat

and if these "race fans" think Reed is no longer a threat, how can anyone still say Bubbles is too?? Chad had a lil better season then Bubbles did. but for some reason, Chads a chump and is washed up and is no longer a threat. just dont get some of these "fans" on this forum...

I really like Chad. Don't really care for the comments he has made about LB though. Reed is one of the only a few guys that doesn't just move over for Stewart. I just wish he was still riding a suzuki. That bike fits him well.

I think his comments are probably suggesting that it might be his last SX race in Australia. I reckon 2011 US SX, maybe outdoors, then retire from bikes.

He sure did...

Wonder what he is asking?
$70,000.00 per race plus win bonuses & championship bonus? Smile
Maybe looking for a 2 year deal?

I wonder how much his price is off Windham's price?
Or CP's price?

Yes he did. One fast lap can still get you last place or less when you don't line up for the race though.

Chad will be on the line at A1. But I don't think we will the same Chad Reed we have seen in the past. Chad had a child this past year and for some reason it changes a racer. It's happened to the best them. For some reason you can't hang it out as much. I know myself after starting a family I became alot more cautious when I was out on the track. I'm not saying I got slower but you think about things more before doing them. I was actually reading a report about this but it was about other pro sports. It was basically stating how alot pro athlete's regress as they get older. But it wasn't because they lost skill but because they started family's and had start worrying about kids and future finances and houses etc. Basically they didn't have as much time to train and there was to many distractions to maintain the level they were previously at. It was quite interesting and it made alot of sense.

4th at a race in Houston
5th at a race in St Louis
8th at a race in Seattle
2nd at some race in Vegas

1st at some national race near Sacramento
2nd down in Texas at another of those national things
3rd at a Maryland race
9th at a track near the rocky mountains
2nd at Red Bud

not exactly a bad year for a broken hand and epstien barr

and you? what were your results this year?
where was that national you qualified for?

and for all you other weirdo's who tweek yourselves over the 140 characters he occasionally types into his phone, how does your interest in his tweets constitute him having a problem?

I will never under estimate Dungey again. The kid is a stud.

If you think about his yr is it amazing. Dungey made Reed quit,/Epstein Barr/EXCUSE!!! RV crashed while riding over his head and Stewart quit when he knew he could not beat Dungey at his one and only outdoor race.

Stewart will be the favorite in SX but Reed is a total non factor IMO. The first 5 or 6 races are going to be a bitch. RV,RD and Stewart will be all in but Reed?? I don't think he has the balls to do what it takes. Riding at the pace the big 3 will be running is going to be scary and Reed has proven his whole career he will lay up.

I'm not hating on Reed. Just telling it like it is.

And yet, amazingly, he still has more SX wins and the same number of 450 titles as Stewart.

RMZ how small is your penis? You constantly lash out at riders and "tell it like it is".. I don't understand why you feel you have the right to judge other people? Especially people you don't know? It's amazing what conclusions you can draw from watching on TV. I don't think I have ever read anything from you that has ever been anything but shitting on riders. Reed can win, anyone who doesn't think so is a moron.

agreed Ando. RMZ, we all have our opinions, yet how can you say Reed will be a total non factor? If he races, we have to assume that it will be on good machinery (he will walk away w/out it). And we certainly know he has bigger balls than anyone of those you listed w/the exception of #7. The numbers and titles don't lie. 3 major titles against the likes of RC, Stewart, KDub etc is hardly laying it up! Dungey had a great year and took advantage of injuries and problems his competitors faced, good for him. RV crashed on an unsafe jump that almost claimed RD as well. He was as fast if not faster then RD indoors. Epstein Barr is not an excuse but a real live condition, and Stewart was only outdoors for his show and the possibility of doing DesNations (pr nightmare yes, but not a true test).

Telling it like it is would be to say "Reed is one of the best ever to race SX/MX!" Hope they all line up next year for both series.

I believe in Reed. I also believe that much more so than James, RC or RV, he needs to be on the right bike to do his best.

The whole time he's been stateside, I think he's only had that combination a handful of times: with the steel-frame YZ250s and the RMZ450. Chad was loose and fast on those, his mid-corner speed was off the charts. He is fast and a contender on anything, but with the right combo he is usually "the" guy.

If he wants to win, a return to an RMZ or maybe the Honda would be a good fit.

Can't say that I do. It's kind of hard not to see it here, though, because it's posted in here all over the place. It just gets annoying after awhile; tired of all the stupid hints on what bike he's on or when his last race will be.

I hope he races, but just tired of the drama.

His options are running out fast:
Kawi was always out after this year
Suzuki - Metcalfe signed now, Dungey already signed, was never a realistic option to return there
Factory Honda - Grant taken what will likely be the last spot there
L&M - Needs no explaining
KTM - Still possibly a shot because Shorty wouldn't be on millions, however very unlikely now

So realistically, his only option is this deal that we keep hearing about with H&H, Dodge, and possibly Monster (Rockstar isn't with H&H anymore) on a Honda. Would be a good option for Chad if they can pull it together, but in my opinion, if they can't make that work then I think we will not see him in 2011.

Wasn't there supposed to be a new Australian team getting their feet wet here in the States?
I remember hearing something about it a few months back or so...

JDR KTM - already have PJ Larsen and Tye Simmonds.. I think at the moment their plan was to ride one of the 250 coasts in Supercross and then do the Aussie Super X and MX so I'm not sure if that would be possible for Chad.. I also doubt they would be willing to put the money into Chad..
