Jujji Started a new thread 1984 yz250 cylinder & head
1/27/2012 4:47am My boss just picked up a 1984 yz250 bike needs a lot of work but is only missing two parts the cylinder and the head does anyonw know if any other year yz will fit these cases? any reply is help full becasue mic fish is hard to find!

11/17/2010 7:20pm I have a 2009 yz450 i run the Jardine 99rt full system it is stainless header and a aluminum slip not ti so cost is way under the FMF 4.1 and Dr D and yes HIGHSIDER you are right u have to have there raditor lowering kit to run their head pipe or you will need to lossen it to...

11/11/2010 10:06am dosen't that bike use SFF in the front end and have a prelaod and dampening adjustment stock?
i have one that had to have the bottom and top end done but that was in 08 bike was strong and had great feel in the corners. i put weisco parts in it and sold the bike if the price is good and hrs are low i would do it. worst case is it needs a piston and ring...
It wil be nice to see im in the class but i think he has not been signed due to him only being able to really do one good moto and one so so moto. happened more than once this year! Frenchy got some american chon chon now go home if you like dosen't hurt our sport in any way...

11/9/2010 2:15pm Good rule of thumb with a 2smoker is to do top ends once a year, if racing bump that up to 3 times a year. with a cylinder change every other.

11/4/2010 7:07am That is all we can hope for man i would kill just to see them all race both series all year long! But i do perdict JS7 to be doing some crying by mid year about some nosense so he can go back to FL and waste more time and money.
