What's best is relative to your skill, size and the tracks you ride/race. That's a moving target that is very difficult to hit without the tuner actually watching your suspension work under you. Even then, the first settings won't be the best.

I recommend finding a local suspension shop that has a good reputation among the local racers.....that way if there is a problem your not spending $100 in shipping each time you ship it out.

Send it no where. Just get proper springs for you weight and have it serviced. 1000 jap engineers can't be wrong but there is always someone trying to sell a better mouse trap.

I THINK U SHOULD DEF SEND IT OUT, CALL ALL OF THE SHOPS YOUR INTERESTED IN N FEEL THEM OUT IVE TRIED EVERYONE ( ENZO, PR2,KPS,PRO-ACTION) IVE HAD THE BEST LUCK WITH FACTORY CONNECTION, GRANTED , THE MORE U KNOW ABOUT WHATS GOING ON THE BETTER YOUR STUFF WILL WORK. I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO TRY PRO-CIRCUIT, PROBLEM IS, IM IN NJ, THERE IN CA.. I THINK ENZO WOULD OF BEEN THE BEST BUT, I WAS DOWN ARD 3 WEEKS CAUSE OF SHIPPING.

Alot of the smaller local suspension guys will give you alot more one on one time. You usually get a generic setting from the big name companies. Smaller local guys know the tracks you are riding and will more than likely even go to your favorite riding spot to help you get it dialed in.

Check to see if there is a Pro Action or Pro Tech shop in your area, the big shops are good but can't see how you ride or what tracks your racing.

You might want to check out Jeremy Wilkey over at MX-Tech. The guy really knows his stuff and he has always answered any question I have had, even if it had nothing to do with my personal suspension or bike.

RG3 is who I had revalve my suspension last time and I think they do good work as well.

I believe your correct so not sure how many shops are familiar with that fork set up. You might take a look at the owners manual/shop manual and adjust the fork settings and go from there (and probably the shock 2)

Check out Noleen J6...Clark Jones knows how to set up "stock" suspension......remember, his team was the highest placing privateer team in Supercross history! Call 760/955-8751 and ask for Clark.

staying with f/c mx-tech is $1500 for revalve n huck valve! cant justify that when u sell the bikes at the end of the year.. f/c cost me $450 n im pretty happy with them. mx-tech doesnt give any rider discounts either! i dont get it.

i think its a shame, 1st off i understand the huck valve is his invention thats cool, but that leaves almost 1k, for a revalve, come on, valving co, get carried away, n its always the local racer who it hurts.

Renthal bars and after market chain and sprokets. I played around with race tech gold vaves front and back back in the 90s and that was my conclussion. The education from doing your own suspension work was very valuable but in my opinion fresh tires or moto lessons would be a better purchase.
