The criminal case was not linked with the Hutten Yamaha team owner, it was about the Riley Racing team owner.
Hutten was sponsored by Jumbo as well (which has stopped of course), but that has nothing to do with the team owner of Hutten.

KTM USA would never allow him to ride WSX. Also, a French TV channel aired a short documentary about him during Southwick and it ends with him saying he misses Europe.
Latest rumor is that Vialle wanted more money to stay at KTM (I guess they're not that interested in Tom and the priority is spending their money on the Tomac deal), KTM said no and Tom is going with the HRC deal.
A one year deal with KTM USA was on the table. Not the best option to learn the big boys category, especially in supercross...
