Damn. Even replays for me are pretty bad. The compression can get so bad I can barely see what’s happening

Live streaming MXGP and SMX, it works good on both Android and iPhone. However, replays using android forces it to stay on what looks like 720 resolution with Chromecast to TV.

If I use my iPhone instead and send it to my TV it's always highest quality, 1080p.

Interesting. I’m using the peacock app on PS5. I’ll check other options

I’ve had it on on my phone at work, the work computer and now at home and they’ve all been fine today.

I noticed that the quality was lower than usual this week, especially the first few minutes.  It's usually pretty good.

Looked fine here. Streaming on the Peacock app with a Apple TV 4K box to a 77” LG OLED TV. I just wish they offered a 4K stream.

Mine works fine. Using my Apple phone to push it to a TV.  Now it doesn’t like rewinding or fast forwarding but other than that works really well.  Picture quality very clear.

I noticed it was the drone footage that was particularly worse than normal this week.

In my experience the app on consoles is trash. I just use my laptop and HDMI it to the tv.

"Streaming Quality" means picture quality?  My picture quality was perfect for Washougal with a poor rural internet bandwidth quality by today's standards, 16 year old Pioneer KURO Plasma TV, FireTV Cube switched through a Pioneer SC-07 receiver.  But FastForward/Rewind hung 3 times and I had to restart the telecast on Peacock, and every time I restart I have to sit through a commercial.  It's a conspiracy.

It is getting better, but picture quality is still not up to par.

Mine works fine on my $20.00 roku device. You guys that use a console to watch tv why? Just a question. Seems like a lot of machine to just watch tv.

peacock is the only app that causes frequent buffering, and reduction of picture quality temporarily on any of the Roku TV's in my house.

If you have a modern big screen TV, there is both frame rate, smooth motion, enhancement functions and options that can fuck up live sports, specially ones with a lot of fluid movement.

So try turn all off and make sure 50 or 60hz mode in TV matches laptop or streaming app.

Streaming quality is low, but has always been reliable until Washougal. I had to watch the first two motos on YouTube Telamundo. Then just caught the replay Sunday on Peacock.

I would pay money to be able to hear only the bikes more (like it happens when they cut to adverts on NBC), you need the commentators here or there to tell you about events on the track or to share insight into the track or maybe qualifying, also lap times. Maybe like 50% less talk would work for me, just because it’s sweet being able to listen to the bikes

If anyone from the production team reads this comment I’m pretty sick of hearing about what someone’s dad said during the week, or who said that while they’re kind of happy with how they’re doing but and they plan to do better at the next race or which team made some tweaks after more riding and testing :/

Ps wait I do pay lol -

Oh and streaming quality is pretty good overall but I have some fun and games trying to charge through the adverts (it often won’t even let me watch them, it gets confused very easily)

I was just going to say this. I have 2tb internet at my house and no other streaming apps buffers and quality drops except peacock. But it works totally fine on my phone on the same network. I think their tv app just sucks.

Sounds like you might need to clear the cache on the TV/App. Check for updates and reboot the TV. Some of the smart TV’s don’t have a lot of memory and they tend to keep multiple apps running. Amazon TV’s are notoriously bad.
