Tom Vialle has to pursue the opportunity with HRC for MXGP, right?

Did Honda not want to resign him or did Yamaha offer more money?

It seems that Honda was happy with him and he was with Honda. But with the negotiations he asked more than his 2 million/2.5 million (the rumors) that he already earned and Honda and Gariboldi weren't happy with that because to get to Tiga his number they needed to cut their brand new MX2 program.

Yamaha on the other side, normally only pays 700k to 800k but today I got news that they are going from 3 pilots to 2 pilots in the MXGP and that their MX2 program is in the balance, because Hutten Metaal is out.

Yeah it would.  If it's true, it makes me wonder if he'll have the same problems as Prado after riding steel frames his entire life?

Gajser and Renaux

If Herlings and Vialle both go to HRC, then where will Fernandez go? I still think Herlings going to Wilvo Ducati is more likely

The way Lewis has made it sound for most of the season was that Honda didn’t want to pay Gajser what he wanted.

Just that i understand it correctly what you are saying: There is no more factory Yamaha in MX2 for next year?

I took Park Boys comment as in Tim making Honda pay, by kicking their arses next year.

Sort of like how Rossi showed Honda that his Championships were Not just down to the bike. Honda have had that attitude for decades.

I'm a bit bummed by this - his reported moving from Honda. Nothing against Yamaha, or, well, any Team. It's just that he is Honda in Motocross, to me, in a certain way.

Though, I'd love to see him, or Herlings, on the Ducati. And, beating Honda.

From what I understand, the high salaries in MXGP had for a long time been driven by big spending KTM. With KTM on the ropes and having to tighten their purse strings, other teams across the board have adjusted their spending down too.

Lots of unhappy riders getting paid way less than they had become accustomed to.

I don't believe herlings will ever leave ktm....but if he did...and he's smart ....he shouldn.t just look at the money ....he has al ready more than enough money......and then Ducati  doesn't really seen like the right choice

I would expect a guy like Vlaanderen back at Gebben and I wouldn't be suprised to see Hans Corvers putting a team together for Jago at de Baets.

I would imagine that for Vlaanderen back at van Venrooy KTM would have to step up for that. I mean Valk is a KTM rider so he is bringing KTM support to Venrooy this year  or Venrooy is KTM supported and gets Valk assigned, however you want to word it. Unless Venrooy switches brand next year, but they were always quite brand loyal so switching within a year doesnt seem like how they operate.

So more will consider the US and the GP series declines further.

Luongo will milk it until dry.

I think with their supported status they have some say in adding a rider themselves as they also added Cas his sister to the team for WMX. With limited seats available for next season I think salary demands will be tremendously lower compared to the last years so it would be possible for Venrooy to add a rider of the caliber of Vlaanderen.
