Man, that is a BEAUTIFUL restoration and true representation of my 1st year at Team Green and it brings back wonderful memories of the 1st LL’s in ‘82…we showed up and Kawi rolled out the ‘83s…which I think we only got to race in the Mod Class…?

Thank you!   Man, that would be cool to be a part of that at Loretta's that year.  Something about these years of Kawi's.  For me, it's the green and gold and the see through rear end.

Absolutely stunning! Love that generation of KX's with the integrated fender/number plate.

And there it is. I knew eventually someone would restore this bike. I had one of these and it was an absolute rocket ship! Beautiful bike!

What pegs did you find? I found some trick stainless pegs i think came from a early YZ80. 

I had issues making the stock shock work so I got a Noleen Shock. And it works amazing

Been using SS wide pegs found on Ebay.  They are from China and aren't expensive.   Fit is decent and they seem solid.  Done several bikes with them and also several races, all with no issues.   So good on your shock.  Tough to find parts for the stock shock (and rest of the bike)   I had Litz Suspension rebuild this one and it was like it was back in '82.   Send pics of yours...
