But IMO the role is not needed. The broadcast doesn't need a 4th person interrupting the race stream with unnecessary info.
i didnt listen to any post races , so dont know,but during the races to me i did not notice any difference, she done her job as per the producers requirements.
2 in the booth works well, but why do they need 2 for track side /teams talk, its over baked
When you have professionals like JT trackside or Blair back then in SX the 4th person definitely doesn't make the most sense but it is what it is I guess

I have never piled on the "Will sucks threads", but I have to admit the more I'm forced to listen to her the more I too can't stand the screeching, non-stop babbling.....
Katie on the other hand is perfect for the broadcast. She gets right to the point and it's much more brief, then Will.
And also her voice is MUCH more pleasant. I don't find myself scrambling for the mute button on the remote. 😂
They need to hire Katie full-time and just be done with it.

I don't remember the one you're talking about but the Vialle 'report' where he was obviously injured and out of the race but she took us through what she thought she could see was wrong with the bike 'it has a handlebar issue and a radiator issue but Tom is out cause he went down and is injured'.. Also when she said to Jett 'Stew needed to hear the 21 from 20 stat repeated' with no context or infliction that it was him making a joke!
I reckon she's shithouse but I figure when you don't have to focus as much with familiar accent maybe they miss the mistakes..
I don't mind Will but I don't think either is necessary during the race..
Yeah the Vialle one was bad but I’m not sure if it was the worst one. Not going to be able to watch it back to find it but I remember thinking yikes that made zero sense and I feel like I read somewhere she rides so why does she sound clueless
