The guys out there are good riders theyve just been riding like shit this outdoors season for some reason. Juju complately fell off and is a non factor, davies is out, shimoda has dropped off again, kitchen is coming back from an injury, hymas is out, forkner is a lapper… The fact that mosiman was second says a lot. Also its the weirdest thing but vialle has been slowly getting worse the last 2 years even tho he backed up his sx championship. He looked worse in sx and outdoors also has been looking worse than last year. Him, kitchen, and shimoda are probably the only 3 with a shot and theyre falling flat.
- - - All that being said deegan is clearly on another level right now and looks as good as anyone ever has on the 250 outdoors. It would just be nice if these guys could do literally anything and make the racing better. Theyre all mentally beat before the gate even drops. Hed beat anybody, but theyre making it a joke right now.
If you think about it this class has fast riders left, but as far as the mental side this is one of the weaker classes in a looong time now that guys like rj are gone, schock is riding 450, and jordon smith isnt riding good. Think about how bad the mental strength is of a class of made up of masterpool, kitchen, shimoda, mosiman, vohland, ryder d…etc.
