Does he run the #1 on a KTM next year? If so, does that change some dynamics out there? I mean does that essentially mean if either AP or ET3 are in the champuonship hunt at the later stages they help one another out the way those Lawrences do for Honda?

I love me some Tomac but the reality is he is not winning this title unless something catastrophic happens. Guy can’t buy a decent start and AP and Hunter are riding super good as well
Not trying to debate if he can win the championship, just whether or not KTM gets the MX 1 if he does and does that creat a team dynamic 1 year early.
IF he pulls the rest of his season together and gets it done. How TF can Yamaha say "bye"?

I’m confident in saying he would run the #1 on the KTM and I highly doubt AP would help him in anyway, or vice versa. Regardless, as someone else mentioned, it’s pretty unlikely that Tomac wins this title.
The champion is required to run the #1 the following year.
to answer ur question yes , if he gets the job done u’ll see a #1 on the KTM , we seen it with Justin hill when he won on pc kawi then ran the #1 on jgr Suzuki & last season with chase , winning ‘23 SX on Honda & showed up at A1 ‘24 with the #1 on the KTM , as a previous poster stated above , don’t matter which brand u go to , the champ is required to run the #1 plate until beaten

I think fans would be aware that Tomac won the championship on a Yamaha, not a KTM. And the value is winning the championship, not running a #1 plate. Maybe there is a tiny bit of value with having a #1 KTM in their stable? But I think Yamaha still gets the most value from that championship, so KTM wouldn't want to help make it happen.

Tomac, Vialle and Plessenger all on a 450 at KTM doesn’t sound realistic to me budget wise but there could certainly be something I’m missing in all of that.

The people that think Hunter doesn’t want to beat his brother (and therefore “helps Jett”) are truly so deep in a cope-hole they should watch a new sport.
Hunter no doubt races his brother hard as anyone else and had some close finishes last year. Now fast forward to the end of year, a tight points race with a different rider. They are teammates, they are brothers, are you that naive to think he doesnt ride a wide bike for everyone but Jett?
