With the extended break and no specific injury reported I’m more and more thinking it’s concussion.  

Almost the exact same scenario as 2023 - got concussed at Pala and sat out until round 5 at Red Bud.

Yes, but no.

The aftermath of that affected Chad the rest of that series. It wasn't until mxon that he seemed back on form.

Exactly what I think. We know how multiple concussions affect people. Its nothing to play around with and there is no hard and fast recovery time

this ☝🏾 I’ve said this repeatedly, reedys Millville crash completely changed the landscape of tht last half of the ‘11 mx season but in retrospect it just to goes to show u how much tougher an individual is from another individual

Yup, and with AP's performances lately. Im betting KTM is happy to be loosing the cry baby that blamed his bike on tv nearly ever single fkng time he either crashed or lost or both in outdoors last year. He is a fkng PR / Advertising nightmare.

Good question. From both Chase or the team. Why wouldn't you say exactly whats up? It wouldn't take much convincing for me to think there's more to the situation. Chase is my favorite current rider but I gotta be honest, its getting hard to root for him.

As a Chase fan I gotta say I havent even thought about him returning. The 450 racing has been great, even with Jett winning every overall. If he doesn't want to race, screw him.

Which is crazy cuz if that is the case, then just come out and say it. I guess we’re beating a dead horse with how our sport is but it just leads to all sorts of rumors when they can just nip it in the bud.

It’s certainly a weird situation.  Has a No 1 plate holder and genuine title contender ever just sat out 4 rounds for an unspecified reason?

I suspect you are right. If so, I respect him for waiting a good long while to get back in the mix. Hopefully it's at Red Bud.
