motoaftermath show said that matthes called up hopper. maybe abotu using a clip from his show? not really sure. guess it didnt end that well tho. thats where some of this is coming from.

I don't get why Steve was so pressed about Hopper asking the question.  AP sure as hell didn't look uncomfortable answering it, he didn't have to answer it or couldn't just given a simple answer to shut it down, but he didn't.  And it's KTM's job to tell the riders how to answer "sensitive" questions.  I doubt KTM really cared either though.

 

Also, how deep for the Steve GL beef run?  GL made a remark about Steve's professional actions (not going to pressers) and Steve immediately made it personal bringing up financial troubles...that was lame.  I couldn't care less about someone's financial troubles or AA, I'm just here for moto.

It’s unfortunate that Steve is the current standard in moto media. It come across so clearly in everything that he says and does that he is a man very uncomfortable with himself. I wish him the best as it must be a rough life to lead.

Love Steve, hate Steve… hard to see him as the person in the wrong here. He had a minor opinion on the question and that was it… didn’t drag on about it, go overboard… literally just an opinion, some of his friend even disagreed with… people are so blinded for their hate with Steve they will use any little thing to get a jab in

Dude has literally turned his lifestyle and physical appearance around the last three years, can poke fun at himself in front of thousands of viewers, I’m pretty sure he’s comfortable with himself.

 I think sharing his political views, even if it’s on his personal twitter, is bad for business but to each his own. I don’t hold a person’s beliefs against them but I know plenty will/do.

If there's a rumour circulating, it might as well be put to the person in question (or adjacent to). You can gleam more from someone by what they won't say, than what they will.

They sometimes cover speculation even during the race broadcast.

How many times have we heard that so and so probably will be going to X team next year.

I thought Hopper's question, AP's response, Tomac's smirk, and Jett's almost losing it were great.
