250 Marchbanks was hauling ass but Kitchen and Haarup dissapointed
450 Jett is Jett! Tomac is a stud and Patural surprised but disaapointed in Chase and Ktm ..that was ugly
Not "the biggest" but still a big surprise: Anderson second moto 5th.
What was the reason for chase not starting 2nd moto? Injury? Embarrassment? That was the weirdest crash….
Suspected shoulder injury. Went to get checked out.
Surprise: JuJu’s speed, just needs the fitness
Disappointment: Chase, hands down. I don’t understand the logic behind trying to race 30+2 with no goggles.

The biggest suprise was there were no surprises.
We all knew Sexton would tuck the front under.
J Coop, has always got one good moto in him.
Hunter was always going to be 3rd or 4th.
Did anyone really thing Eli was going to pass Jett.
Yeha bro embarrassed. Packed it up & left. Told Roger & this is a direct quote, “I’m too embarrassed to go back out there cause the internet is going to torch me.”
The only choice he had was to stop and get more which he planned on. I don’t think not having goggles caused his crash.
Yes and it will happen.
I am a bit disappointed on Jorge's performance.
Edit:
On 250, not my biggest surprise, but happy JM6 finished both Motos, was he last factory supported rider on the finish order?
I don’t understand why he waited so long. His speed was limited and each lap he did was another lap he could’ve gotten severely injured. Yeah, it sucks he had to pull in but why prolong the pit stop if you can’t even run the pace you normally can.
He’s gone from last to first in a moto before, I think it was a really poor decision on his part to race with a handicap as long as he did.
Disappointment- Masterpool kitchen hammaker
Surprise - Shimoda, paturel, JuJu
I suspect the logic was that he wasn’t losing a lot of ground without goggles, so stay out a little longer while the field spreads out so he doesn’t lose so many positions stopping. Which seems very reasonable to me. The pit board message had him stopping on the lap he crashed.
Same, I thought Prado would have done better, maybe not a win but atleast around the top 3 and not a minute down the track. I remember a prime Herlings coming here on a new track, with a different bike and immediately being up front.
Yes, a rock square in the eye could end his career.
Biggest surprise was both Lawrence brother’s riding like they never left.
Disappointed in Sexton but not surprised.
But also Prado.. with the hype and predictions from so many. I expected him to be battling in the 5’s.
Also. Disappointed RJ never went 450’s earlier in his career.
It looked to me like there were two possible causes for the crash.
1. With comprised vision he hit something he would normally miss and landed in a hole. Or
2. He hit a false neutral, which would have nothing to do with having no goggles.
If we lost Chase after one round, god fucking damn it.
I'm guessing maybe a cracked rib?
Pit Row
I expected more from Prado, but he started back both motos, on a new bike, new series.
I'm sure he will get better.
Chase on the other hand. Damnit. That probably killed the series 10 minutes into it.
no disrespect but this goes out to the ppl tht wants to shit on “supercross “ because its a “injury meat grinder “ & yet we have 1 of the fittest racing athlete gets hurt on a “ motocross “ track
Was attendance down?
AC separation?
It was packed , parking lot was over full to the side road
Chase never really showed up once Eli and Jett where on the line ..
Unless his compromised vision distracted Chase and led to an unforced error. Then riding without goggles were a factor. We’ve all been there…
Chase hit neutral, you could tell when he landed.
Biggest surprise for me is Eli and Jett being able to push for so long and look so fit at the end of it. Eli especially looked like he hadn't even raced yet when we saw him with his helmet off. I know he backed down a bit toward the end. But that dude was just pushing for ~30 minutes and riding way more aggressively than Jett but looked like it was nothing physically for him to do that. I suppose it shouldn't be a shock he is that fit. I guess I just thought being off the bike for so long would hold them back some.
Biggest disappointment is Chase being injured potentially. As awesome as it was having a two way battle for the lead that second moto. Chase would have made it even more fun if it was a three way battle. It doesn't look like anyone else is capable of mixing it up with them when they get a start. They dropped third place pretty quickly.
Hopefully Chase is back next week. I like seeing Jett pushed. He would happily cruise with a 3 second lead if no one pushed him.
Everything else is obviously secondary to Sexton’s meltdown, and I hesitate to say Levi Kitchen because it seems like there’s gotta be somethin up with his health for him to have had that bad of a day, so I’d say the biggest disappointment for me was Chance Hymas, especially in Moto 2. He put in that absolute burner to end qualifying, sprinted out to the lead in Moto 1 then tipped over which, ok, salvaged a 3rd, but Moto 2 he didn't get a great start but also just didn’t work his way forward all that much and was only able to manage a 6th. Pretty disappointing relative to how the day started for him and just like that he’s back 14 points in the championship already.
Don't read too much into Pala. It's Deegan home track and Jett has always dominated there.
Let's sprinkle in a few more nationals before getting too excited or disappointed.
He was trying to get in and get goggles and come back out in 7th or 8th instead of going in early and coming back out in 25th would be my guess on why he was waiting to get them.
