We should start a kickstarter to get Glen Helen back on the circuit, this track is just not great as a spectator, or for races. I love that it's so close to me in San Diego, but I hate coming here. It's almost embarrassing to call this a professional facility. Great track for training, awful track for an event.

There is SO much behind the scenes shit you don't see or understand. The surgeries, the rehab, the training/working out, the strict dietary discipline. The mental demons you have to overcome. Getting out of bed early on those days when you might feel like shit and exhausted but you keep doing it and busting your ass for days like this. Being pushed that entire 2nd moto to his limit and riding a pace he hasn't for a long time.
