Also if anyone is in town and interested...Road 2 Recovery is having a poker tournament tomm nite at the Pala Casino...ill be there (spectating def not playing!) Its a good cause to support.

On just about any day of the week, Pala Casino is PACKED to the gills with people (they bus in gamblers from Orange County), but friday nite it wil be SRO in that place, good luck getting a table to play at unless you go to the high rollers room.

Less cig smoke in there and they treat you better, just bring more money to play with.

I wish I was going. Once Hangtown got in the books this turned out to be a crappy summer for getting to the races to shoot, for reasons that made it a crappy summer beyond not getting to the races.

Maybe some crazy way will come up, but I expect to catch the action on screen. Should be a fantastic event if it at all lives up the promise the Canard/Geico v. Pourcel/PC battle. Enjoy it folks.

Just a note..took a ride to the track yesterday. Found that if you take the Temecula Parkway (from Old Town Front Street exit off 15) to the Pechanga Parkway and follow S16 all the way to 76 it brings you out past the Pala Casino right before the track! May also be backed up but I bet not as much as 76...

Sending a couple of friends from Newport to represent me. Their first outdoor race was when I took them to the USGP. Now they are headed to Pala!
They promised to give me a full report.
