One thing I do find interesting is why does Mirtl have this clip? Why did he hold on to this? I feel like this could also be an indicator on his character. As far as I can see, the only reason this sorry saga has stayed in the public eye is because of Mirtl himself, yet that’s what he’s complaining about?
No side is ever 100% clean, but if Waserman and the Lawrences simply weren’t happy with Mirtl as an agent anymore, they’d just cut him loose. Why would they choose to embroil themselves in a dirty expensive mess like this, unless there is truth behind the accusations?
Sounds like the guy got caught with his hands in the till and instead of walking away, is busy digging a deeper hole for himself.

If it’s just a young guy under 16-17 years old saying words that he probably shouldn’t have, that’s hardly scandalous. I’m ashamed to admit it, but my group of friends used plenty of racial slurs when we were young. Well, until my dad heard me once and set my ass on fire with a wicked old leather belt!!!!
I can’t say that I’ve been the biggest fan of either of the Lawrences, but the more that Cooksey fully felates Mirtl and his stark raving madness, the more I root for them to return to full form and take Mirtl for both of his nickels and whatever pennies that Cooksey has to his name also.

That's what I was thinking. My first thoughts were , Looks like a kid allowed to swear and is saying bad stuff to get a rise out of the filmer. And with 0 context .For all we know Mirtl was the guy filming and was telling Jett to say something like that. If it looked like Jett had some sort of hate while he was saying the words, I may have a different reaction. And honestly I am a fan Of Jett's and I don't know if I can really be unbiased .
My second thought was, Mirtl looks like he was holding onto this stuff for a rainy day. And it made me go from somewhat neutral on how I felt about the deal between he and the Lawrences' to siding more with the Lawrence's. It made me wonder if he had been trying to extort them and did more to make me believe that Mirtl is guilty of what they accused him of.
What he did was not what an innocent person would do in my opinion. To me it screams, I know I'm screwed so I'm taking You down with me. If this was something that was so bad, and offensive to him ,Mirtl should have quit. Not held onto the footage and faked outrage to drag Jett down with him.
I feel bad for Jett that this dumb stuff came out. I hope that if its what it looks like( A kid saying stuff to get laughs from the person behind the camera not being said out of hate or being a racist) that Jett doesn't get in too much trouble. Like lost contracts etc.
