He thinks in his head Jett saying that when he was young and immature is going to shift the narrative to race instead of him stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars. I think in his mind what he did was normal and taking that money wasn’t wrong that’s why he thinks everyone is crazy. He hasn’t produced one spec of evidence supporting his claim of innocence and has dug up the stupidest dirt he could find to shift the finger pointing right at him.
It's a long video so you should have someone let you watch it with an IG account if possible. But to try to summarize, Mirtl films himself talking on his couch and claims all the allegations against him about stealing money were false, unwarranted, and they have ruined his image. Mirtl said it could be a lifetime of work to undo the damage that has been done to his reputation/family. He says the Lawrence camp is drowning him in attorney fees and he is okay with losing his house and everything he owns if that's what happens. He says enough is enough and says it's time to fight back and show everyone who the real Lawrence's are. He names off all the names of each family member and some on the Wasserman team, and then says something like, "so here it is, episode #1". He proceeds to play "Episode 1" which is a clip he made about Jett Lawrence in which he takes two different clips of Jett saying derogatory words which is intended to paint Jett as a racist. The first clip is a very young Jett where he's laughing and says the word "co*ns", and the second clip is a more recent clip where Jett says the word "n*gger" as he's testing a microphone.
I'm sure I missed something important, but others can chime in.
I'm guessing by saying this is "Episode 1" Mirtl is claiming he has more dirt on the way, as if it's possibly going to discourage the Lawrences from going full court press with legal action? I have no idea.
Regardless of how old the clips are or how out of context he may have taken them, this will still likely result in some sort of repercussion for Jett and Wasserman. Jett will probably have to make a public apology and Wasserman will have to make some sort of anti racism statement as well.
Not sure where this goes from here but it's definitely some TMZ drama.
What is weird on this video is that.
a) A guy who made millions with a list of champions are already talking about losing his house.
a.a) Maybe losing his house has more to do with hitting his golf balls into his neighbors backyards, repeatedly.
a.b) Maybe losing his house could also come because he spends a lot of money on washing powder...
b) He wasn't popular at teams before this, because he acted like a diva, like one of the famous persons. If you listen carefully you hear him also say that this is a never seen attack on a famous person. To suddenly set that straight to "Never seen attack on an agent by a famous person". But the young guys who are probably still with Wasserman (can't imagine that Shimoda, Vialle, ... all left) but are still on speaking terms with him and acknowledging to what he has done for them. They need to be careful that they don't end up in a shit storm and end up as collateral damage, as damage goods.
c) A very young Jett Lawrence says the N-Word. Knowing that those words sometimes come up, when you think you're in a safe environment and can talk some banter to your friends. I assume that he and his "friend" Mirtl where talking crap to each other and Jett said the N-word. Stupid from him. But is that the smoking gun that TMZ will broadcast and end his career? I doubt it, if something happens he will be rehabilitated like Kyle Larson. If you look at Kyle Larson, he went from a very talented kid in a B-team to a grown man in an A-team who won the Cup, started his own championship, is doing the cross-over Indy 500-Charlotte 600.
