I believe Chase would be insane to leave KTM for a new team for the following reasons.
What do others think?
- Current bike looks REALLY good on him.
- He is finally looking smooth, and the front-end crashes appear to have been sorted.
- Changing from the steel frame to the aluminium frame of the remaining brands is likely a massive transition.
- Current team mate setup seems complimentary with AP and Tom.

KTM is owned by Pierer Mobility, who are having financial issues, they may not be in business next year.
Chase has many years left in his career, he's looking after his long term future.
He looks great right now, as fast as ever and finally with solid consistency. But I’ve left good jobs in the past because I felt it was a better long term move for my career, and I think Chase should do whatever he wants to make his career better. He’ll be great on a Kawasaki, maybe a little better than the KTM, maybe not quite as good, but with all the potential downside of staying on orange, I’d do the same thing.
Isn’t Kawasaki known for high paying contracts?

Even if by some miracle KTM survives financially they are obviously unscrupulous in their business practices. They have screwed over employees and suppliers, why would a rider assume he might not be too. Acosta is searching for a Ducati, I assume Chase feels the same as him. As far as the, "well he would have a contract" narrative, I imagine most of their suppliers KTM screwed over to the tune of 30% on the dollar had contracts too. They are an untrustworthy business.
