Deegan's antics and his future

These Hannah comparisons are ridiculous.

I dont think Hannah came from millionaire parents. He went to work as a welder for his day job and worked his ass off under vastly different circumstances.  When Bob chirped he didn't come across as a spoiled punk kid.

How have I covered for him? I have said absolutely nothing about what I think of the pass or his words on the podium.... If by making fun of those that are way too emotionally involved in everything Deegan (that would be you) is somehow "covering for him" then color me guilty...I just find it funny that there are grown men like you that get so upset over Deegan...he could save a litter of puppies from a burning house and you would find some way to discredit him....

How I am any more “Emotionally Involved” than you? I stated my dissatisfaction from his bad behavior, you quote me every time and reply to me…

Hint: It’s a classic defensive tactic on vital if you call out any of the Deegan marketing machine…”Grown Men”, “Emotionally Involved”…but you know this. Go away, you’ve earned your Monster/Deegan merit badge enough for today.

It's not complicated for most.....

"SuK iT!" seemed more appropriate. Maybe holding in for a long time...

Seems like his formula for antics is to be more outspoken when winning and to trend more towards sportsmanship when losing. It also seems like he has a good sense of when he can get away with throwing fuel on the fire and when he should play it cool. Most 250 champs go on to sit in that p3-10 place when they move up, and if he is one of those i doubt he’ll stoke as much controversy. If he’s battling for wins I’m sure he’ll pop off, since he seems to mostly run his mouth if his results are backing it up.

Imo the move on Davies looked like Cole was used to riding close to him at the test track and thought Deegan would give him an inch to stay wide. I wouldnt be at all surprised if Davies moves on and decides that, as someone well served by nonchalant focus, a physical rivalry and trading blows is more trouble than its worth. Especially with a guy like Deegan who thrives when he can get riders caught up putting mental energy towards distraction that he grew up thriving in

We've seen this before... works fine in 250s... but 450s.. ask bam bam and friese how many combined championships they have... 🤣

Kid didn't need to run his own teammate Davies high to win the championship... but he did, thus creating yet another enemy on the gate... deegs basically making everyone an enemy on the gate, now even teammates are included!! ask bam bam and friese how that works out in the long run too... 😅😅

Being boo'ed when winning first real pro title = Priceless!! There is no amount of cash/coke/whores that will ever make those boos go away in deegs head.... #paythepiper

90% of these comments are worse than what Deegan said on the podium.

Anyways, what time does he race again?

As I grind out a living everyday I say good for Brian Deegan and his kid for making millions and millions of dollars from riding dirt bikes. I don’t care if his kid is spoiled. They are living the dream.   I give them mad respect. The kid is 19 years old. He might be a serious bad ass by the time he’s 28 or 29 if he doesn’t get hurt.   Let’s see what kind of man he turns into spoiled or not.   He is rich. He rides dirt bikes every day and he’s fast. How many of us don’t wish we were rich and fast?

He just won a Supercross championship.  He should be celebrating.  Instead, a bunch of pencil pushing pussies are deciding whether or not his pass was legal!!??? Meanwhile, all the Denver stoners are sitting there booing him.   What a joke.   You know he worked his ass off to get that championship. You don’t get stamina like that from sitting around.   He had every right not to look those dorks in the eye when he took the trophy and he had every right to tell that crowd off.  Down vote away.

I do not love the kid, but if you think his antics will stop a team from hiring him, you need your head examined. The kid's resume is insane and with that he brings a million + subscriber youtube channel and the biggest fan base I have ever seen with him. His SX skills obviously need a little work but the kid only knows how to win and I think he'll continue that on a 450 when he gets there.

Heck, with his fan base, if a team doesn't hire him, FELD probably starts a team just to keep him at the races. The kid puts butts in the seats.  Screenshot 2025-05-04 at 4.13.40%E2%80%AFPM

His 250 National title is much more prestigious than a regional sx title.

His 450 deal with Star is already done apparently. Everything can be overlooked if you're a winner.

There’s the rub. Same with the 338 and his fanboy bedbugs 15 years ago. As long as you win you can act like a total douche, it’s fine! The universe, karma, etc has a way of balancing things out. It was heartwarming to him and his moronic fan base slither away and I’m here for when this brat gets his medicine, and he will.

Didn't Osborne win a title a few years back by blatantly t boning someone?  If I remember correctly, people on here thought it was a great move.....

Why was Deegan making a barely aggressive block pass such a big deal?

Oh right, Deegan----Davies......

Check this out: he doesn't have to live by your standards or your ideas.  Go check your own self and morals.

You are practically giddy at the idea that something bad -- or as you call it , karma -- will happen to Haiden.

There's karma waiting in the 450 class for Haiden. It goes by the name Jett Lawrence. He'll never be on Jett's level in sx

Everyone’s making too much outta this. He’s just a snotty kid that does some trolling. He’s fast and won so he can be a little cocky.

You aint wrong. I'm a Davies fan and in the heat of the moment last night, I was like this mfer Deegan. A day later, hey the kid was wrapping up his first 250 sx title. Whats the bonus on that? $500K? I think most don't really have a problem with the move. Its his punk attitude. Haiden is exciting as hell to watch outdoors. I'm here for it.

If I spent 20 years raising my son and making the commitments and sacrifices Brian did, I wouldn’t be happy with my son behaving that way, even if he won a regional championship. The pass was fine, the constant chip on his shoulder for no reason is sad.

What do you imagine his contract extension signing bonus was?
And...I mean just for signing. I believe he’s set thru the end of 2028…with a hard 450 commitment @ 2027, that’s 2 years of 450 on top of his 250 deal thru 2026. As I understand it…it’s a very lucrative deal

How many other 250 riders are making what he makes?
Just consider his podiums and champ bonuses, so far…this year. Who’s even close? 3 1st, 2 2nd, 3 3rd + 250 SX West-Championship: est. $900K …or more…in bonuses as of 5/3/25

How much does Star value “what he brings” to the team via his following?
(grossly misunderstood around here).

What other up & coming 250 rider has his value?

I’m jus’ sayin’…

I know a lot of people think what he did last night was nothing short of tasteless. But looking at the big picture the moto demographic think what he did is “cool”. Bobby and star prob want to puke but see the money he generates. And at the end of the day it’s all about the money. I think he’s fine like him or not the majority of these fans do favor him.

Hopefully he gave Cole an earful of his normal Bobby ribbing's for leaving the door open like that.

Don’t know him personally but I’d think he would be so proud and excited for the win but shake his head and would have him go the Davies route and express his feelings off the live feed. Davies was totally in the wrong and that was the second time that day. Live and learn.

You have to rewind back to Brian's days and why he stopped racing and went FMX. He just wanted to be himself - but not many supported him. He wasn't going to be a robot poster boy.  From what I remember Brian  got more support from @OG MOTO XXX  team  than anyone else in the sport back then (Jordan correct me if I'm wrong).

Fast FWD...  Now that Haiden is up there ,it's Brian's big FU to the powers that be and letting him be himself and do what he wants.  I'd assume Brian loves the attention and even fuels some of the so-called antics. It's publicity ,which leads to marketing/clicks.

Jesus man, you can't be this immature. Unless you're a teenager, then all your posts and Deegan fanboyism makes so much sense. Yes, the professional racer is supposed to take the boos. Its part of the job. Millions cheer you and millions boo you. You dont tell the crowd to suck it on TV

Haiden does, and you or anyone else else gets to dictate how he lives his life.

How about you do you, and let's others do them?  He ain't harming you any.

Yup. Brian, the Mulisha boys and Moto XXX always beat to their own drum and were very much anti-establishment.

If ran into Deegan / his family in person they’d have nothing bad to say.

Remember when deegans bike blew up and he cried and threw a tantrum while getting in the golf cart? Ya I’m sure you extended him the same respect you’re giving Cole now🙄
