In watching the many replays, he was able to get side by side with Davies and they were both racing for the same line. Deegan had the inside and that usually wins out. Davies knew he should have let Deegan get side by side and Deegan have the inside.

The pass was like my daughter would do, the fan reaction was more than Deegan and family ever dreamed of. It's time for the Deegan family to tone it down and let the racing do the talking. The stadium was basically empty.

Deegs had that race won without need for a block pass. But deegs equals drama, block pass on a teammate it is. 😅

is deegs the first champion ever to get boo'ed  on the podium?

Looks like the next bam bam to me 🤣

Bitch move! If you are faster, just make the pass without incident.

I’m sure the same guys crying about Deegs’ pass also play pickleball on the weekends. You guys are so soft it’s embarrassing.

It's pretty ridiculous how they handled that shit on live tv. Ruined a championship winners moment imo. I mean present him the number one plate. Then about to present the championship trophy and they stop to ask him that BS about the pass. Let the kid enjoy it.

I actually have followed the dude since he was a mini rider.  I was a fan for years.  After he dragged the Lawrence’s as unamerican and pitted the fans against them I thought that was uncool but I get that it’s a bit.  At this point though, his vulnerability pokes its head in every now and then.  He reacts like a bully from what I can see…uses his boisterous attitude and thinly veiled “it’s good for the sport” trope to hide his insecurity and fear of being unliked.  It’s not human to “enjoy” being booed by an entire stadium on one of the biggest nights of your life.  That didn’t feel good whether he recognizes that, admits to it, or ignores it.

I just think he’s reaped negativity and when it’s given to him as he’s planted, its the fruit of his actions and accountability rearing its head.

None of the legendary battles that we still watch today between Stewart, Carmichael, RV, Dungey, Tomac and Roczen ever ended in one dude punting the other off the track. A block pass? Sure. All it does is ruin the race and intensity. The crowd intensity deflated after that move.

I get it for the race deciding the championship but there was 1.5 laps left and Deegan was clearly reeling him in and going to pass him either way. Hell Davies almost looked like he went wide to let him around and he still gets punted lol. That's racing though! All part of being fans of certain riders and the sport in general. It's probably the most any of us sore losers get fired up all week LOL.

After growing up with  Hannah, Johnson, Bradshaw, Lawrence, I’m thankful for Deegan.  Yeah he’s a bit of a punk, when I was his age, I was a punk rocker.  He’s got balls. I’m glad he told those chumps in Denver to suck it.  He brings life to boringcross.

If you can accomplish your goals without being a dick that's generally the better way to go about it, but haiden and his entourage seem to disagree. He's going to get humbled in a big way at some point and he'll have nobody to blame but himself.

Respectfully, sir, I’m not sure Haiden Deegan is ever going to blame himself for anything he ever does over the course of his entire life

Gotta give major props to Davies too, 100% class act on the podium. They tried to bait him into saying something stupid multiple times and he just ignored it and kept it classy. Definitely the people’s champ here.

Deegan just sent a notice to future teammates.  Not that it wasn’t expected.  He and Brian may find the 450 class somewhat less accommodating to such antics.  Anyway, congrats on the regional championship.

The one thing Deegan is better at than racing is wadding panties on Vital….he’s leaving a trail…

Cole Davis needs to take a lesson from Webb. Sexton went up on Webb and Webb put his shoulder down and held his line and didn't get pushed. Davis did not.

I have no problem with the move.  Davies left the door wide open and honestly should have expected it there, knowing who Deegan is.  It was to clinch a championship so thats just racing.

His personality that shines so brightly for us to see in the interviews however, makes me look forward to him moving up to the 450s and see how those guys respond to a 5'7" shit talking twink.
