Non-Moto, but Battlefield 6 is looking pretty damn great from what's been leaked. The Indiana Jones game looks pretty good as well. It has an Uncharted vibe to it.

I check in on that thread from time to time and there’s all sorts of games I want to check out, I just never get around to it.

They're bringing back the single player campaign. That alone is worth it to me. I've always enjoyed campaign mode.
I'm still waiting for Bad Company 3. BC2 was an awesome game.
I still hold fond memories of the Modern Warfare and BC2 campaigns.
While everyone hates Supercross 6 with a passion that borders on zeal (Super Hunky line), I love it... it's the most realistic i've ever played... most say "its sooo slow!!".. it's sooo slow because that's realistic... it's not realistic to hold it pinned wfo for 99 percent of a track, SX6 is the opposite of that..
Yes, the AI on SX5 and SX6 are RIDICULOUSLY high for new players, or even for old players getting used to the new style of gameplay/new tracks... Yes, there are some wonky parts of 5 and 6.... but... 5 started to increase the realism, with 6 taking it to another level... 6 gives you much more control over the bike, with a realistic amount of time to use it...
lastly... I'm like most people.. i just wanna see more tracks for the existing games..

I think you'll be pretty impressed how accurate they will be. Tracks will be 3D scanned at each race this summer to make sure.

Goddamn I hope they don’t shit the bed with this new Battlefield like they did with 2042… Had some of the best times with BF3. Used to get some 50-0 rounds in the jets, loved flying those and roadkilling snipers off the mountaintops, lol.
And If you can find a full lobby in BF1, it still holds up almost a decade later, both graphically and with the gameplay. No other Battlefield matches the pure chaos going on around you at any given moment or area of the map.

3d scanned and 1:1 ratio? My understanding is that 1:1 doesn’t work for Mx bikes, as the bikes are too fast, hoping that mtg will nail the speed

Question, I decided on a PS5 Slim with digital and disc capability. Is there any reason to get something different?
The last console I had was the Nintendo back in the early 2000's when MX vs ATV came out.
Any advice appreciated. Mainly for moto game use, btw.
I would say definitely don't buy the console now for MTG. Consoles will have great deals around black friday and you never know when the next PS or xbox is coming out (although we do have a good idea it wont be soon). I personally recomend getting a PC over a console so you can also play mxbikes but the console is a much easier option
No. Disc capabilities will allow you to play most PS4 games as well.
Slightly off topic but the new Skate game came out and is free to download and play, can't believe it's been 16 years since skate 3.

To play ps4 games that you have already, it's worth getting that version.
If you didn't already have the PS4, I'd tell you just save the little extra and get the digital only version. We are at a point where it's ALMOST pointless to have a disc version of a console considering even with a disc you still need to download every single game to the console in order to even start it. Which in my opinion was one of the dumbest decisions console/game makers ever made.
only reason i got the disc version is because i use it as my BluRay player as well. i have about 69,420 BluRays bro

Depends. I got the disc version for the special edition games. The disc versions usually offer something different than the digital download. Could be an art book, statue, car model, poster, etc. If you don't play older games or you're not a collector the digital version is the way to go.
