Pittsburgh Mudder!

Please no. I'm not against mudders at all. But the stakes we have now and the way the points are, I want the last 3 races to be dry

Can we stop already, we are 5 days out, the weather changes, it was supposed to rain here all weekend, and we got very little to none.

Decent temps...  Hopefully the rain holds off or is just light rain and we have a great track.

EDIT:  I'd say we're good if this holds up.

That’s okay I am😂especially in SX. Idc for all the old heads coming for me after this post but to have an SX race in the mud is so stupid. Sure it’s entertaining in the sense that dudes are floundering around but its far from quality racing. SX is already crazy dangerous, track is already beat to hell by the time the mains come around- I understand they already paid for the stadium, fans/tickets etc but it’s really an inferior product on every level 

If this race is a full blown mudder, it might be another 40 years before SX comes back to the 'Burgh.

Track crew will do a good job of building early and tarping the track. Schedule might get adjusted to avoid some weather. Press Day will be cancelled. I’m expecting normal racing conditions for Saturday. Dirt Wurx needs a raise after these last few rounds.

Yep, mudder. That sucks

A little ran can make for good racing……..a lot rain makes for a mudder.  A mudder every now and then is ok.  I’ve had enough mud for this year.

As good as the track crews have been this year, I think they’ll have good for the racing as long as the rain doesn’t move to later Sat.

Were you also at the 78 mudder ? Hannah was a great mud rider that night.. Barnett was impressive for just getting his feet wet on the RM250. Danny Laporte looked good out there also. 

I was not there.  I lived just outside of Pittsburgh at the time and serious debated about whether to go or not and decided no at the last minute.  I have enjoyed many a mud race at High Point over the years but none “indoors”.  At my age I have zero desire to put myself through that anymore.  It’s much more enjoyable to watch mudders on TV.  😀

So are you going to post updated photos over the next three days with sunshine and no rain? Some of y’all love the doom and gloom pessimistic side of things so much.

This is nothing about doom and gloom. Its just the most recent photo I've seen. Take it however you want though. 

They received 0.17” of rain over the last 24 hours. Shouldn’t rain again until sometime Friday.  

Edit to add: track will be built and covered before the rain comes Friday. Dirt Wurx has shown us multiple times this year they have got this figured out on the prep side.

It’s looking like most of the rain will come Friday night into Saturday morning. There’s no rain in the forecast for Saturday after about noon. It could actually turn out real nice for the races.
