Respectfully disagree, ML has done a great job of getting guys back here who were part of Motodrive and building vital into what it was. GuyB was a decent guy as well, there were directives in place and sponsors to satisfy. That caused censorship which ran people off or they were clicked. Either way the place went down hill and everyone lost interest. I don't know the metrics these days but there doesn't seem to be nearly as much traffic as back in the day? If they start censoring again the few who come here will leave.
I'm not a cooksey fan but Moto is long overdue for someone who posts the truth. When was the last time you heard a PED story in moto? Do you think guys stopped trying to get an edge on the competition or healing their bodies faster? I doubt it! No one is reporting anything but fluff again which makes a story like Deegan doing doughnuts a big deal. Your sport is sad when the biggest stories take place off the track either in the announcer booth or in a parking lot driving a vehicle with four wheels........... Maybe I’ll get lit on fire for my opinion but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being concerned about Jason and curious about what is going on. It’s only natural to feel that way about somebody you feel like you know a little bit. People are use to seeing him on the track, listening to him in interviews, watch vlogs, etc. so they feel a connection there and are concerned when something like this happens.
Does Jason have to tell the public what’s going on? No, of course he doesn’t have to but if he doesn’t people are going to speculate. No different than if somebody stops coming into the office and then everyone in the office gets a memo that he’ll be out for a few months to focus on his health. The people in the office who were use to seeing him every day are going to wonder what’s going on.
I don't think you'll ever get reporting like the stick and ball sports. The teams will just close ranks and we'll have even less than we do now. It has always been this way.

I agree we have never truly had it and each time we see someone start down that path or give an honest report that person is blacklisted from the industry. Think about each crazy fringe moto guy you can name and typically they were once legit until they grew tired of fluff pieces and photo shoots.My guess is most are still legit they only have the crazy label to discredit their content. Jason not riding right now has zero impact on his negotiations. People know what the ranges you may get from him as well as the fans he brings.
