It’s happened multiple times in baseball recently. Last one I can think of was when Eduardo Rodriguez completely vanished in the middle of the season because of a family emergency. He came back after three months. I don’t think it was ever revealed why he was gone other than it being a family emergency.
Interesting. I hope all is well with him and he gets back sooner than later. I’m not as interested in the WHY as much as I’m curious about the WHEN. Either way I hope everything is okay with his family.
In baseball that means alcohol or drug problem if they miss a patch of the season . Or maybe gambling the league makes them split. I dated a couple players old ladies in Florida.
