Or Friese, or Anderson, then everyone would want vince banned for life for that pass.

To be honest, Beaumer kinda showed his true colors in that exchange not for the better.

But he's still a kid.

I wasn’t in the sport around this time, I was very young, but, i’ve watched some videos of the james and chad battles, are we about to see james vs chad 2.0, but with the addition of social media/having a social media presence or whatever you want to call it?

Deegan's act would be cool if he didn't commit the crime he was arrested for but he did...

Still not enough respect being given for Davies in this bromance between JuJu and Haiden.  As far as "raw" talent on a dirtbike, I'd put them in the following order: Davies, JuJu, Haiden.

"Raw" talent only gets you so far but I'm sure you know that. To me guys like Hannah and RC never had the most of it either. Windham had it in spades, but he came along precisely at the wrong time and had to face Carmichael. In some ways the same goes for James. It's awesome that we have these three young bucks that are coming up through the ranks and making things a little spicy Smile

I like where your heart is but these younguns have a wayz to go before we speak their names in the same breath as James and Chad. Those two were ready to DIE when they raced each other!

The types of takeouts between those two made it seemed they were actually ready to die to beat the other person. What would be awesome was if we could hear Ellie's thoughts on those times.

It was a three way rivalry for a bit with RC too.

The '80's and early '90's were WAY more cut throat.

That pass should be expected!

Juju needs to wise up.

Exactly!

You're racing In a tight stadium track with limited passing opportunities so you can't always wait for polite times to pass .

I actually hope Beaumer bucks up and takes the fight to Deegan albeit cleanly as "possible" as far as title fights can go.

I love passes like that, especially in that corner, if someone did do a pass like that, they can battle in the next rythym as well.

Unfortunately I put Coty Schock in the same boat as Seely. Taken it from #38 multiple times but never returned the favour, even when he had the opportunity. Granted Coty's not on Deegan's level, but as he continues to improve and have great starts, its seemingly a foregone conclusion that he will roll over for Deegan when Deegan's coming through, and Deegan knows it.

I think he just doesn't want to trigger Yamaha. if deegs keeps messing with him tho all bets are off.

I'd like to see him take the fight to Deegs but as aggressively as he can get away with.

My take on this is Juju has looked very good this year. I think he has a lot of talent and he took a big step in the right direction in '25. I still think he mentally needs to get a bit stronger and make work on his racecraft in high pressure situations. And that, to me, is where Deegan has been so impressive, his whole time as a pro. He rides aggressively but doesn't have that "throw it away" element that many young guys do. He handles the pressure every time. It's actually pretty amazing and that is a lot of what I am a fan of, with him. I don't think he is this top tier natural talent. I think he is talented though and has worked very hard. He has been given many opportunities at a young age and has taken them and still is driven to be great and I love that. That makes him very tough to beat. I have no problem with his pass on Juju this last race. I think if Juju can improve on the areas that I mentioned, he can give Deegan problems. But right now, Deegan just has that mental toughness and ability to step up when the pressure is on. If he gets a bad start or falls, he charges, every time. And sometimes that is just something that many athletes lack, that ability to step up when the pressure is on. But there are a few of these younger guys that can make it interesting. Obviously Davies is the other standout. Hopefully Hymas comes around and even though he is a little older, Levi I still think is a guy who can mix it up with HD. Maybe Adams will be there and a few others.

Ju's pit interview on Vitals IG was good. He'll be alright.

They’re quite on different ends on the “bad boy” spectrum lol

what makes Deegan a spoiled brat? Hès 19 with two titles so far and leading in points for a third title. You can't buy talent, he works  hard to be fast and not get tired and he wins races. That makes him spoiled?

As awesome as that would be to see, I think they’re both smart enough to know that playing fuck-fuck games with each other is the most surefire way to hand the championship to Davies.

I’m not sure they are that smart yet, but luckily they have teams.

So just watched the Lewis interview with Beaumer and it sounded like Deegan had a problem with this pic being shared (first I checked the original arrest thread to see if it was still there).  BUT Deegan has no issue with making light of it (the race kits used), which I think was a very smart move.

To me it seems like Deegan had nothing to beef about so brought the sharing up???  I would like a nice hard pass taking him out for the night to happen but it sounds like the two of them have been warned of no payback which IMO is a bad precedent to start (unless the powers that be want Deegan to be champ?)

He's got 2 SMX titles actually. We counting SMX like it's a National title now? Even 250 SX is a regional title. SMX is certainly an accomplishment but in its own category

While the SMX title is an accomplishment, to me it's a distant 3rd to an Outdoor 250 title or 250 SX regional. I know there are differing opinions on this but in it's current form, the SMX title is kind of gimmicky. SMX in general is really cool and if that is what needs to happen to keep both SX and MX on the same page, have a good tv deal etc, then I'm all for it. But unless it evolves somehow, I don't think the titles are in the conversation with a SX or MX series title. Just my opinion.
