Crazy that this was expected for such a long time.

Either way, congrats to Kenny!

Roczen sure does seem to keep that team afloat.

You could see Ferrandis get that ride. I'm sure that would go well 🙄

I think this stems from Matthes guessing how silly season is going to play out this fall on one of his shows last week. He said “I think Roczen races part time next year for Ducati.”

To me it seems like Roczen semi retiring would be more of a story or at least something he would’ve mentioned or had talked about by now, even if it was for the team he’s currently on.

That yellow bike ride kickstart or not is a good ride.  If Ken jumps ship they will get sign a fast guy.

If it's tied to TLD i doubt it. Fox pays him to much and I don't see TLD and ducati wanting to match that.

The only thing missing in the TLD/Red-Motorcycle/Red Bull trifecta is…”Red Bull”…so…

Does that make Kenny “The Missing Link”? 🤣

Who’s contract with Suzuki? HEP’s?

I’m fairly certain Troy has said he’d let Kenny stay in Fox if it got him on the team

Unless Monster signs him to a personal deal for big buckaroos, I don't think it's happening.

Suzuki gives the Deegans a 49% stake in the company.

That's what he's doing currently. He's done racing a full  National schedule.

Kind of. Both companies are owned by the Volkswagen group. VW seems to operate Ducati through Audi but if you ask VW they are the owners. The amount of resources that VW has at this point, it's not unrealistic that they would drop ridiculous money on a big name rider that could make their bike look good but the 245m story I keep seeing I don't think is within a realistic range

Roczen is looking for a home to retire at soon, Duc could be that. I think Kenny and Cairolli are at similar points in life and they could be the ying and yang to each other across each pond. Kenny would make a great US ambassador for them when he decides to hang up the boots. Suzuki can't offer that. Suzuki can barley afford to keep Kenny facing SX on a private effort. Kenny is also a great test rider who is notoriously picky, so that helps. Plus he might now have to let go of RedBull because Troy has had a long relationship with Redbull. And perhaps Troy will let his 450 guys keep their own gear deals. I could see this happening before I could see Chase going to Kawi.

One of the top dogs needs to sign before the end of SX so we can get people some rides. I really hope that Chase and Kenny do not wait until mid outdoors to finalize their plans because it will screw over a lot of other guys and push their contract signings way late into the year. There are too many guys who need to get their new deals done to muck around until October this year...

Kenny races SX, a few nationals, SMX finals and WSX. That is a full schedule.
