Looked like a broken leg just below the knee to me but idk shit.

I thought it looked just below the knee brace. The old conundrum of the brace may have saved one injury and caused another.

 That is a massive bummer for Max!  Sidenote, 100% absolute kudos to team Star for an amazingly expeditious update and transparency!

Max is cursed. I can’t believe it.

Not always, can have blood flow issues from the fracture and loose your leg.  I know people who have.

He’s still got next year maybe he’ll be a 250 champion at 34 and be the oldest to do it.

The silver lining for Max is that Birmingham has world class orthos everywhere.  Hate to need them, but when you do, it's the right place.

Totally stinks for Max.  Hope he gets good medical care and heals up quickly. 

If a guy is gonna break one the fib is the one you want to break. It doesn’t bear any weight it controls how the foot twists

Same a mate broke femur. Had to eventually cut the leg off above the knee.

SX should be 10 rounds. This injury shit is getting out of hand.😧

He was on vioxx he said that at the track.  Is was the best anti flamatory . I fractured my femur & didn’t go to the dr for 5 days.  Unfortunately it was taken off the market too many people bled to death .  That stuff was strong side effects where many like millions of black dots in your vision, break a hvy sweat opening your mail , shower & a ton of hair would b in the drain.  U could hv a broken back & go on that stuff. I did for yrs only reason had back surgery was because it was pulled from the market.

One thing about racing motorcycles.  If you have been at it for a bit, you KNOW as soon as you have broken a bone, just like Anstie did....   🤣
