Picked up a 2025 YZ125X yesterday.....sort of an early 63rd birthday present to myself. Got it from Libbys Motoworld in New Haven,CT - they are excellent to do business with and always have any parts I may need.
I prefer the X model because I'm more of a woods rider but do hit the track sometimes. Love the light weight and midrange power on these bikes too.
I'm keeping my 2022 125X for a backup bike, and for my son to ride although I know he'll be stealing the 2025 from me when he can,😀

I got my first bike from Libby's, they were one of the first Yamaha dealers in the U.S. 1981 YZ 80when I was 11 years old. I remember that day like it was yesterday. Family owned dealership and very pleasant, despite being in New Haven.😀

The 250fx is really nice - I was considering one of those or a crf250rx but decided to stick with the 125 for now. Enjoy it!
