Make Your Voice Heard: Daniel Blair or RC

Knowing now that RC pretty much got slaughtered on the internet for his performance in the booth while Blair still got the praise the week before Arlington makes that even more uncomfortable to watch. The first time I watched it I thought it was a skit because I couldn't believe someone would act up like that on camera. What an awkward human being, yikes.

Losing DB is a tough hit for every fan, he was the best in recent years and Blairs Breakdown on top of that was probably the best race weekend content out there together with the Weege show and the Lewis interviews.

I’ve seen people act butthurt and unprofessional but that action should really have a negative impression on the powers that be. Great way to tarnish the GOAT label.

I cheered on RC hundreds of times.  (including in NASCAR) I have posters of him in my man cave.  He has more talent in his pinky finger than I ever had on a dirt bike.

But WTF!  His conduct off the bike is absolutely horrible!   Blair is the GOAT in the booth!  Its not even close.

For RC to try to punk and push out DB is disgusting!

Wasn’t Ricky notorious for being a bully of a teammate while on Honda and Suzuki? Can’t remember which teammates told stories about it at the moment…but they sort of described similar behavior 

Maybe add Weege to the announcer column and James to the color column.

Pastrana... Wasn't a teammate at the time though I believe. If he was, it has to be when TP was on his way out of moto.

A: Ricky Carmichael. Absolutely hated him. Wouldn't talk to him. When we were on the Suzuki test track, he threw me out and said, "You can't ride when I ride." And he was better, so of course everyone was like, "Yep, OK, you can't ride when he rides." I was like, "Damn it!" So I went and rode with the Yamaha test track with Chad Reed – who was also a complete (jerk), but we were good friends.

Maybe that’s why he HATED when the bike would hit him in the rear, it reminded him no matter how good he was on a bike, he’s still a short little prick.

RC should really consider this push back and take a humble position and consider being team manager instead of announcer and recommend to give Blair back to the fans to recover from this drama!

Couldn’t agree more. It’s ruining his legacy as a legend of the sport.

Weege and Blair in the booth are every bit as good as those two. 

NBC had/has both of them and they couldn't figure out to put them side by side to call SX? Tells me all I need to know about who is running the talent there. 

You missed it. Just scrolling past this post is the "who cares" option, but you just had to stop and say something. You want it to appear that you don't care, but the answer when you ask, "who cares?" is you. You cares, or you wouldn't have said anything at all. 

RC isn't the problem Leigh is TRASH!!! There is no one worse in the booth than Leigh.

Reset password I forgot and logged in for the first time in a while to also say RC is AWFUL in the booth.

Incredible racer, but not good at announcing. Doesn't speak well and rarely gives the deep insight we want out of the guy in that seat. 

I also watched that Blair breakdown video -what an absolute dick RC was. Unbelievable.

On the next broadcast pay attention to RC and his weirdly placed chuckles. He’ll say something not even remotely funny, or weege will and he’ll say something like ‘that’s right.. hahah’

I still can’t understand that the decision makers at NBC think he does a good job and even sabotages the broadcast to make him comfortable. Mind numbing.

You're concerned about his knuckle placement during the broadcast? This crap is ridiculous. I remember having to wait months to see a 30 minute TV broadcast about each SX race. Now, we get all rounds live and its come down to tearing apart one of the greatest racers ever to walk the planet because he doesn't talk eloquently enough for your sophisticated verbal pallets. Some of you people have lost your frigging minds. Hell, Emig stutters and can't get the words right and none of you ripped him apart for it and in fact want him back. Build a bridge and get over it.

It’s ok to have a low verbal iq. First step is to admit it.
