I think Christian had him not training with the team at times to focus on what haiden needs to improve on. Just my thoughts. Christian will still be helping the team with what they need help with, but not as haiden's mentor anymore I think.

The interview is clear. It wasn’t working out for Deegan and he preferred Swanny’s program which was more intense and allowed him to ride at the farm with the team and not alone most of the time. He said there Christian is still around and helping out with the entire team. No bad blood is what I got from it.
I don’t know the details, but deegans results sure haven’t been dominant this year. Christian is an awesome guy but if you’re on a program that isn’t producing results while your teammates dominate on a program that’s completely accessible to you….it makes sense to go back to that option

I always took the whole thing as more of the Deegan family throwing Craig a bone than it being some serious attempt at changing up training. It came with the understanding that he'd be helping out and not isolating himself like the other 450 guys.
