No disrespect but when McElrath is battling for top 10 round 5... something just not quite right. With Jett out and likley missing a good amount of outdoors, and Prado out for the season, Ferrandis out, Hunter out, Tomac injury, Chase crash, Ken crash, Ryder D out, Brown out, Shimoda injury, and Kitchen, RJ, Forkner all struggling, and most of PC getting injured (Adams, Marchbanks, McAdoo, Masterpool), something just dont feel quite right about this season. Probably the most attrition through 5 rounds ever. Shit just feels cursed and honestly made it kind of depressing to watch the racing out there.

He's not wrong though. 5 rounds in and 5 top guys missed the main and Tomac was basically doubling the whole track.
All I know is sx is screwing up the real series which starts at Hangtown!!

It did feel dark. I was thinking it was just me but after seeing lots of folks in threads on here saying the same, I’m thinking it was substantial.
Name one other season its been this bad, this early on and I'll stand corrected.
The depth of quality riders is so high now that you would just argue that it’s not the same caliber of rider. It’s subjective to compare seasons but my opinion is that you are being dramatic. Lots of injuries this year for sure, but let’s calm down a bit on the dramatics.
Stop watching the racing if you’re so distraught.

it's been a bloodbath. RC is gonna get a call from the manufacturers telling them to lay off talking about injuries (not his fault) so they have a snowballs chance at selling mini bikes to helicopter parents.
I'm just glad we only have 9-10 whoops and no dragon backs since all the "data" showed they were dangerous. News flash, moto is dangerous. Jett got hurt on a straightaway and Tomac now because he foot was slightly in the wrong place.
Yup, you could say it was “Dark” AND dreaded too… it seems there’s a bit of a fever going around. Here’s to hoping the rest of the season is dark and dreaded! I’m on the Mookie train and I feel a fever coming on!

Riders crash and get hurt. Is the number of riders higher this year or is it the riders you care about are?
Guess we don't need a B main anymore. Maybe they should let the top 250 guys race two classes if they want for double points
