So with Jett now confirmed out, Honda may look find a replacement this year. Why not Conrad Mews ? He Is already familiar with the Honda, has elite level speed & has shown an interest in competing the ama nationals this summer.
No point risking him in sx, get him there early to get well set up for the first round of the nationals.
If anyone needs reminding off his speed ask Herlings..
Hangtown is quite aways away. Over 100 days out.

As a Brit I'd love to see him over there doing some AMA rounds, but he's renowned for not travelling well and struggles to carry his home speed to overseas races. It'd be great to see that reputation proved wrong though.
Yes . Its not that he's not a good rider , I just don't think he'd be on the radar for that ride .
Why would they need a fill in for the nationals when Jett will be back for the nationals?
I think they'll be content to focus on Hunter for SX.

I’m guessing that Jett’s gonna need as much as 6+ months to heal…so, with that said…let Jo…also…take the necessary time off to TRULY heal his Pit-Board Smashed Fingers!!! And put Parker or someone from Honda’s current development program on Jo’s bike.
Once Jo’s healed up, put him on the 450. He’s AMAZING on a 450. Let him race whatever remaining SX races he’s ready for on the 450 (maybe starting in March-April) and send him to the Nat’s and SMX on it, too.

I saw him on a KX450 a few years back…he was deceivingly smooth and fast.
Came here to say this. I want to see Jo race the 450 so bad. With his riding style and his need to get more aggressive on the 250 I think he'll be so good in his 450 career. Tampa's too soon but please, Honda, put him on the 450 for some of the east rounds.

Every time I see that track on the schedule I think it can only be because someone has pictures of DC engaged in unnatural acts with minor-age farm animals.
It's a pretty shallow talent pool, that's for sure..
I'm willing to bet Jett will be back and no fill-in will be needed.
I expect Jett will be aiming to be back for the Nationals, but giving Jo a go in 450 SX after his fingers have healed is not a bad idea.
If Jett is not in for Outdoors, then Webster is a no brainer.
