Damn. Really hope he can race outdoors. Tomac, Sexton, Prado and Lawrence was going to be crazy!

That took some air out of what has been a great season so far. Hope he doesn’t rush it and comes back when he is 100%.

Really sucks…. He’s now in the Knee Club.  You don’t want to be in the Knee Club, it’s a life long membership.

Also sucks for the fans.  It was setting up to be a battle for the ages…. Still looks like it could be good, but without Jett, it will be something slightly less.

If he’s back for outdoors, I expect him to take a few races to get up to speed.

Gutted for Jett. The season just became considerably less exciting also.

Chase v Eli now.

I'm asking a question that I have no idea about - Do top pro MX racers carry some type of insurance to cover a percentage of lost race winnings/bonuses if they suffer a season ending injury?

This injury Jettson suffered must be a tough pill to swallow given he didn't hit the ground

Bummer. Maybe he'll have an RC type of year. Come back from a knee injury and sweep MX. It will be exciting to see if that happens.

Will we see a fill in rider at HRC??

Doubt it.  It's only the energy drinks that require full rosters.

Sounds like a lot of people are discounting CW2 already.

I thought he looked pretty doggone racy on a track he's usually mediocre on (relatively speaking) and then typically kicks it into gear back east.

Hope he and KR94 continue to bring it - it's been fun to watch so far this year and looking forward to what 250E holds. 👍

Here come the people saying whoever wins the title needs a * next to their name

No, think how many * there wouldnt be if Kenny never got hurt. Moto is just a mean bitch sometimes.

This reminds me of Stew at Wahougal (I think) that one year. Such a bummer.

Normally I’d agree, but it seems like that bike still needs work. I could see them bringing someone on to continue to develop it.

I doubt it too.   The only other 450 guys on Honda's would be Joey Savatgy, Dylan F. , McElrath & Friese.

Friese! Think of the holeshots and the drama.

110 days until Hangtown.

I think RJ is a great example in what NOT to do when it comes to injuries

I think its built in the contract. RC on gypsy tales mentioned tweeking his contract for championship bonuses only (not race wins) and also waiving insurance on injury or something like that. I suspect it paid more if he succeeded? Jett pretty good and not injury prone...curious how they are rolling.

I thought maybe he had an uncle bet against him and tossed it to split the winnings... all kidding aside, bummed to lose him this year.

Get well Jett!

We should still have a great series with Chase, Eli, Coop, and Kenny.

Man I hope Webb sees this. Thanks for firing him up if he does see this.(This is coming from a fan that pretty much likes everyone, some more than others), don't count out Kenny either.

Re-read what I typed....I said the racing has NOT been a snooze fest. I.E. the racing was awesome because all the top guys were healthy.

2/3/2025 6:14pm

Why would we say that?

...Especially considering Sexton and Webb had both also beaten Jett prior to the injury.

Well, if you've been paying attention the last few years, Jett is obviously the guy to beat, and was just getting going.

He could clean up that meniscus and run the torn acl. Then sit out outdoors and fix the acl. Seriously.  You can compensate a lot in motocross with leg strength alone.

Does he make Pala? James had a similar timeline in 08

I remember RV coming back from an ACL faster than anyone I'd heard before. Think it was 4 months. I could be remembering wrong

He’s going to get a lot of cheers when he comes back.

I'll be one of them. I wasn't impressed with the entitlement attitude he seemed to have last year, but since he's gone back to having "250 Jett" attitude this year, he's definitely won me back as a fan.
