I think ‘13. He got that stinger after he barrel rolled at A1. How many knee injuries has he had? 😂

I thought 14 he lead like the last 80 laps of the season with 4 straight wins. I thought that was how he finished off his supercross career? Was that in 13 instead of 14?

He didn't race '14 mx so I was guessing he was injured. Crazy how little RV raced a 450 in mx. He's "only" got, I believe, 13 450 mx wins

Hard to believe that his sx dominance is over a decade old now.  Shit time flies!!

Anyone in the know or heard anything else on this from his inner circle or team?  Has he gotten an MRI? Or getting one tomorrow?

IF Jett is out (and no, absolutely NOBODY wants to see the title favorite lose like this) these guys are going to absolutely kill each other to take this title. We’ve seen how everyone rides with Jett there and with Jett gone. I think the confidence level of all of these guys skyrockets. Tomac, Sexton, Kenny, Webb, they’ve all beat each other before and will believe they can do it again.

Kenny and Webb will fade. It's Eli and Chase battling for the championship. Money on ET.

I hope you are wrong about Webb and Roczen. This could turn into a serious Royal Rumble especially if Jett gets healthy in a few weeks.

MC rode his whole career with it torn right?

I think DV said in an interview  once that he tore his very early on in his pro career or maybe right before  he turned pro.  He said lots of exercises  strengthening  the leg muscles allowed him to go without getting  it repaired.

Webb is getting better every week. He is almost as good as he looked in the off season. Barring injury he will not fade and never has.

I have one partially torn and one “gone” ACL

Doc said “ you have a torn ACL” I asked how bad he smiled and said “ it’s gone”

I opted to not have surgery just rehab and have been able to work and ride.

I can tell you a cortisone shot will get him through a weekend or more

I’ve torn 3 ACL’s…. Yes, even a repaired one.  And now I’m 4 weeks after a Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA).  No fun.  This recovery is going very poorly.

I’d say Jett has joined the Knee Club.  You don’t want to be part of the Knee Club, you are a life long member and there is no way out.

Mine was acting up yesterday after three straight days of riding my sled. I don't sit down much and the trails/seasonal roads I ride have a lot of stadium whoops lol. I'll go for a couple years and forget about it and then out of nowhere it either partially locks up or I get a nice shot of temporary pain as a reminder that it's junk lol.

Getting the swelling out is the key for sure. Until that's under control you aint doing sheet with that leg.

Hard to bet against Eli, if Jett is going to be out. Chase starts better and looks like he's really vibing with the KTM now. He was super aggressive last night. He's my favorite so I'm obviously pulling for him

Lars said he had good stability in the knee so that should be a good sign.

Not sure if this is satire, but he tore his I think the race after he wrapped up the championship.

It was in 2012.  Villo had a 115 point lead with three races left.  He tore his acl on the first lap.  Was out for the rest of the year.

Not to fully discount Lars, but we’re talking about a freak of nature with super strong leg muscles. He will for sure have a strong base but that much instant pain is not a good sign for no damage to a ligament or cartilage.

I just don't see him having the speed to run with ET and Chase the rest of the season. Anytime ET is behind Webb he gets by him pretty easy and drops him. The same thing happened last night in the 2nd heat. I will be in Tampa next weekend so it should be interesting.

Me too man....3 fully torn ACLs.  I had the first 2 fixed and I'm still living without one since the last tear.  I'm sure the first thing they did in the medical truck was the "drawer" test, which essentially checks how well your upper leg is connected to your lower leg. Lars said the initial look showed that it was pretty stable, so hopefully that's good news.  You can certainly race without an ACL.  I have, and I recall many pros that have done so as well.  That said, it tears the rest of your knee up terribly over time.  You'll trash your cartilage and develop arthritis, constant swelling, pain, and instability.  Yep, the Knee Club.

can't you typically walk on an ACL tear?

Usually pretty quickly on an ACL only.

Doc said mine was good and tight when he did the ACL check. He said you may not need surgery. But every time I tried chasing the grandson around the yard  if I would stop quick that bitch would buckle on me and hurt for a couple days. Dr said the only downside for not getting it fixed was it would accelerate the wear on the knee joint potentially causing the need for a total knee sooner.

I was working on the ortho floor at the time taking care of patients with total knees so that and the inability to get aggressive outside playing I had it fixed..

Now 12 years later I have zero issues with my knees. I'm 53 now

Webb was only like 4 seconds down at the end of the 3rd race and Eli and Chase were pushing each other.. he also held off the fastest guy the last two years. Id say Webb speed is just fine and his race craft is better that Eli or chase combined. You cannot discount webb. The last time Webb won a title Eli was probably faster but he followed Webb around half the season unable to pass him.

I'm saying all this and I'm a huge Tomac fine.

Maybe send him an email (copy/paste) telling him you are going to be there and see what happens. Couldn't end any worse that it did for Ricky.

I wouldn't interpret that as 'no damage'. More as ' jets a freak of nature and might be able to ride through the damage, since itnseems stable and that makes itbkess likely to be a total tear or have collateral damage'
