The MXL boots were made in Pennsylvania (as were the Castre gloves) not too far from where I lived so I was supporting local companies.

I also remember my Oury grips, Terry fork kits and cables, and my Works Performance Shocks

My 1st Mx bike bought on my birthday on 11-18-89.  Bike had a NSR port job for hill climbing, it ripped.  The shock did too or should I say broke.  4th gear in 4 ft whoops & boom.  WP shock was Really good.  I miss 1.99 trans oil in 98 yet.  

Funny,  I started a new job early last year and for the pre employment physical the Dr asks  if I had any surgeries and that was the first time I rattled them off in succession.  He says, “wow you’ve had a few, ever thought of giving up dirt bikes?” Me-“NOPE”

Learned how to braze steel because you actually bought an AT 125.
