I don't think his stock is hurting at this time. The kids got a lot of eyes on him and he's one of the Top Stars in the sport globally. He's got several races left in the West series and it should be interesting to see how he does. INDY,,PHILLY & SLC (East/West Showdown) rounds should be the most interesting.. If he doesn't win this championship - it's not going to look good for him.

But at the same time, his fan line at the SX or MX fan fest is the longest. He may not check all the right boxes with many of us on here that are older, but his age group (that we all used to be) is eating it up. In the swapmoto podcast that came out today, haiden said he operates it, but his parents or someone used to when he was younger.
All the manufactured drama his camp is trying to create is phonier than the WWE and its cringeworthy. They know drama sells but everyone can sniff through it all. He's tried to start beef with how many riders so far? And none of them have bit so he moves onto the next guy hoping for a reaction. He isn't in anyones head but his own. He's tried to create unnatural Soy Boy Beef with Hymas, Kitchen, Beaumer....who's next. They should call him TEFLON, cuz his beef just doesn't seem to stick. The kid's skills are insane! He should try to let his riding do the talking, that alone will shut "the haters" up. The kid is fast!

I am a big Deegan fan, mostly because I appreciate a rider who has drive like that. Yes, he spouts off on the podium, but does at least have the talent to back it up. I remember being a Hannah hater back in the late 70's mostly because he had a big mouth. Because of that I never appreciated the way that guy rode and the way he wanted it more than anyone else. I missed the bigger picture. I also like Juju a lot and if he wins the title, he earned it and I'll be just as happy. As much as I pull for Deegan, I was also happy when Vialle got the title last year....he's a good kid and just very likeable.
I just want to be entertained and Deegan absolutely brings that more than anyone else. If he was not here, these races would be way boring. Yes he absolutely says some cringeworthy stuff, but man it's all entertainment. If it wasn't fun I wouldn't watch it.

I do laugh at the JLaw comparisons.. I didn't know him but I've heard stories from someone that did and it was clear he was not faking haha apparently there were often signs he'd gotten his arse kicked but was the sort of dude that would then trash talk to the guy about how he didn't kick it enough haha..
Gotta do all bullshit on this too. Take away one rider and the races are boring? Maybe the sport has run it's course for you.
