Scrolling through pit bits and I need to know more about this set up.
Is this a stock box that wera sells? Or did he build this up himself?
Ultra trick.
P1750 Case + Custom Foam | MyCaseBuilder
I think it is similar to what I found on mycasebuilder.com
It has a neat hard hanging system on the top lid that I haven't found yet.
edit: It was all likely done from Pelican directly. I found the panel on the lid. It is Pelican "EZ Click Molle" EZ-Click Molle Panel | Pelican
Google some world cup DH mechanic toolboxes they have been doing awesome setups like this forever, they have to travel the world and fly with their stuff so they have gotten really creative with the pelican box style setups.
I'm OCD big time so I love the organization, a place for everything and everything in it's place. That being said, I hate the tools. Sliding T-handles are the worst. I also generally don't like hex keys (or torx's, I can't tell what they are. I much prefer screwdrivers style or in a socket.
Not a big keys guy myself but I LOVE my Kowa T-Handle set.
Hex I prefer in a socket too - I can manage to round anything off if I put my mind to it though. LOL.

Okay my case builder is badass - I’m not getting much done today at work I guess.
Thank you! Love vital for this type of stuff.
Kowa T-handles...... Tell me you're old school without telling me. I have a set from the early 90's and I still love those things. Have a bunch of Motion Pro's which are good as well but the Kowa's just feel better.
Check out @toolboxwars on IG for some more inspiration; it's a collection of various setups from traveling bike mechanics with lots of well thought-out set ups.
That is a bad ass setup Lesher’s mechanic has👍
Love the color coding.
I still have 2-sets of Kowa t-handles as well. But once you use a set of these, it’s hard to use anything else-

I believe these were the first of Ti t-handles, but I still prefer the Superlite version from DocWob

But if you’re a diehard Kowa guy, they are still available from pro-circuit-

Need to exit this thread before money starts disappearing
It would probably be a crime to put some of those sweet T handles in one but I built out a box from a Harbor freight tool case, the whole inside is like a rubbery material and its the perfect size. Just built it with spare duplicates I had and a few harbor freight tools and it stays in my truck or the toy hauler.
Portable metal tool boxes are pretty much junk these days unless you want to shell out some coin.
Think this could be a better option to use at the track and keep in the van full time.

They do custom foams for cases and tool boxes. Suspension cases as well.
I agree hex keys are the worst of the worst.
I feel like I am the only moto bro that thinks T handles are useless. Give me a ratchet with a screwdriver grip extension any day of the week
That is Bad Ass !!!!!!!!
I'm always surprised at how expensive the foam is for these setups.
Same here, I’ve never understood the lust for T handles. I’m much faster with a quality ratchet of my choice, and I can’t stand how much space T Handles take up.
What bikes uses all the allen and torxs sizes?

This thread delivers.
I went ultra minimal back in the day, had a small plastic toolbox with a small tray, and had 2 of everything that i needed on the bike , T-Bars, spanners, sockets ETC , plus grips and pliers.
Went from a 65kg bo to one that weighed about 10KG.
Then i broke down on the way home, and didnt have anything to fix it.
Be careful what you wish for.
That case of Leshers could be half the size, but that makes it easier to get lost.
Nice though.
I don't carry a complete set, I only carry the tools that fit the bike I have with me why bring a 13 if my bike don't have a 13
I like my Motion Pro 3/8' t handle so all you need is that one and an assortment of 3/8" sockets to change out as needed.
Those are some trick set ups!
