Rookie moves on both sides. The Lawrence's should have never come out and stated the reasons for firing him and claimed fraud. They should have simply stated "we have parted ways" and the truth/story would have eventually come out. The second rookie move is Mirtl's response, looks like a high school kid wrote it.
Bottom line is if Mirtl has a good defense the Lawrences just screwed themselves and will pay for defamation of character damages. I would hope they have plenty of evidence, but it's never a good idea to come out and make fraud/theft claims because the defendant can always drum up a story and sue for defamation of character.
Exactly. For those thinking this was someone checking an account last night and seeing something shady, and then he gets fired today.....no effing way. This was a process and an internal investigation long before the last few days. If not, I would be absolutely shocked.

The statement about firing him is absolutely crazy and in a cursory google search (since I'm not a lawyer) it seems to hit all the high notes for libel/workplace defamation if it's at all untrue, so I'm inclined to believe he did that shit and Wasserman/the Lawrences have some pretty solid evidence.
I mean even if he didn't do it, I cannot believe his first move was not to retain a lawyer. If he did do it, he should DEFINITELY still be getting a lawyer. There's no way this is going to be the end of the story.

Did a google search on him and went to the videos, and there's one from Racer X called "Moto Marketing Podcast #107: Lucas Mirtl." Although this video was from February 2022, I watched it and he could not stop moving around and fidgeting between questions! I've been around a few people with drug addictions and that's exactly what it's like when talking to them. Just my 2 cents from what I saw, and reading that response he posted...
