With as gritty as his ride was this weekend, it’s hard to imagine that he wasn’t ready to win 2 in a row to start the season. 

Hopefully he heals relatively quickly because this looks like a year where he came in very ready instead of starting slow and building up his speed. 

I can’t imagine trying to hold on like he did on a SX track. I wouldn’t be able to hold on with that kind of pain on a paved trail…..

On his Insta story he was in the gym so I guess no surgery? Hopefully he's been told it'll heal on its own and he just has to grit out the pain with no fear of worsening it.

Amazing that he’s only 13 points down after the last 2 races with the broken fingers. I know I’m in the minority, but I think that he’s still got a shot at this title if he just gets a little bit of healing during this week and then gets a couple weeks of rest. 

Was it ever verified who was wielding the pit board?
