If the top 5 Tomac Lawrences Sexton Webb and Roczen can stay healthy for the season we could be seeing a real chess match of a championship. All these guys are smart enough to know that a hard fought title fight is better for everyone than talking trash.
STFU noob
😂😂
I feel like they were talking about how Friese almost killed them both lapping him. That's what it seemed like.

You can tell when jett went up to eli that he was pumped to be racing against the legend. Jett is a huge Eli fan just like everybody else and he looks up to him. He kept mentioning how bad he wanted to race Eli and he finally got to. That was cool to see.
These Jett threads are always just a little “off”
We’ve seen hundreds of races where the top two finishers have congratulated and chatted with each other with smiles on their faces. Is this some sort of unicorn moment for some?
I think people over analyze this stuff and make a bigger deal out of it than it is.
Although Jett’s always been classy, I feel like last night was a big moment in getting fans to appreciate Jett’s racing rather than hoping he doesn’t dominate
Carmichael also said he (meaning Eli) has been around and might be riding comfortably now that he's out front etc. Elis fastest lap was...the fastest lap (fact) and I counted I think 3 close calls where Jett got sketch. Don't get me wrong I was on the edge of my seat but I by no means think Jett let Eli win...that'd be a foolish move. Did Jett decide he might crash trying to run Elis pace? Probably
I don't see Webb being a real factor in the championship this year. I know, I know, underestimate Cooper Webb at your own peril. I just think last year Chase was off, his first year on the KTM. Eli was just coming back. Now he's got three guys covering him in speed as opposed to just Jett last year
I think it’s more because of who it is at the moment. One guy is a legend in the twilight of his career and the other is the crazy talented relatively new kid out to take his place. I personally would rather see the guys race hard then show mutual respect after the checkers than disrespect your competitors the way some (yeah you know who) 250 riders act when they’re up there.
anyone catch exactly what Eli says at the end.. He kind of shrugs and says something like "I had the pace" but I couldn't fully understand it.
He's been inserting his wisdom in all the threads regarding SD race. Imagine being like that instead of enjoying the racing for what it actually was.
You may want to re watch the race, from when jett caught up, to the end. Eli turned it up again.
Yes, it's hard to comprehend the logic of someone that thinks Jett was holding back and was OK settling for second. Not sure if he was watching the same race.
Haha, I was going to ask the same thing… I can’t make it out
It was great to see the mindset change in Jett last night back to what I think is his natural persona, he can't play the villain it messes with his own head too much.
And this isn't just a once off playing it up for the cameras etc. Go back to even the SMX finals last year when Chase crashed the first thing Jett said was I hope Chase is ok and it was a bummer not to race him . I think Jett loves to be pushed by the other riders and if he gets beaten he's probably pissed deep down but that doesn't mean he can't respect them either.
Good stuff looking forward to hopefully a cracker season with Jett, Eli and Sexton having battles
