Eli is nuts

Jett was faster mid race and just settled in. Tomac didn't gap him at all. I wouldn't call that "beast mode".

Take Jett away and Eli just came through the pack and gapped second place by a mile. That was beast mode. Eli kept last years champ behind him. He was the happiest I have seen him after a win in a long time. He knew he was on fire and was proud of that ride.

Beast mode was wrecking everyone on the track. Now it's beast mode to everyone but Jett? Got it. And to repeat myself, very impressive win. He looks anazing

Yeah I kinda wanted to say the same thing but didn't feel like raining on the everyone's parade lol. Beast mode is  Tomac getting a bad start and blowing peoples doors off going 2sec a lap faster. Solid win and he's starting a long season perfectly. Not so much beast mode though

No one goes 2 seconds a lap faster then the next best guy in SX. Outdoors yes, rarely but yes.

I duno, he was wfo the whole time. Jett caught back up a little in the VF fiasco, then would gap on jetts mistakes. 4th or where ever he started to 1st then hold it is pretty beast.

I also noticed how knarly the corner before the 3-4 was and it never even phased him. It was like whoops inside that rut.

Whatever you wanna call it, it was a phenomenal ride.

Eli passed and pulled away from Jett until he got stuck behind Roczen and Webb.

I’m pretty sure destroyer was speaking for Steve there…

He was 7 or 8 on the first lap I think.

Eli was on rails for sure. I think Jett knows it’s a long season and let up a little. He looked like he was letting Tomac have it a bit.

Dude, everyone at my house about fell off the couch when he railed the sand that lap. Insane

He made a pretty big mistake on the 2nd to last lap in the whoops as well. If he could have he would have.

For sure. Red plate already. He's obviously riding hyper focused knowing the stakes of this season. I was blown away by Mathes saying he didn't think Eli was a real threat for the title

Jett in the press conference said they were pushing the limits and what he saw in Eli tonight is what he considers beast mode 🤷‍♂️

He straight up beat the fastest rider in the world (thats 10 years younger) and passed a lot of the next tier guys to do it. I'd say that's a glimpse of beast mode in Supercross if I've ever seen it.

He didn't win by a minute so it can't be beast mode 😂

Looking at the big picture. Didn't Tomac have the red plate last year also at this time? AAAAAANNNNNDDDDDD we all know how that season panned out.

It was so graceful and powerful at the same time. I’ve only seen Stew do such things.

My jaw dropped when he railed that sand corner. I think he destroyed that corner so much in that one pass that it was impossible to hit it that hard again. One hell of a race!

That's right, it was 2023. Last year he had a ROOKIE wax him. Now that's "Beast Mode".

One of the many reasons I have always been such a big Eli fan is due to his ability (on so many occasions) to destroy a corner.

Best sand corner pass since Josh Grant Glen Helen MXGP. Eli's just so good at breaking those out. I remember last yr I think it was him railing the corner by the mechanics at High Point  - everyone rails that particular corner but Eli once again took it to another level...

Didn't gap him but was able to get more out of that track. Eli had half a second on Jett for their fastest laps. I'd say it's beast mode considering what we know Jett is capable of and seen from him in the 450 class. He didn't even get close enough to try a move despite being on the tail for a while

I’m not sure there’s ever been a rider that punishes a berm like Eli. My kid and I were just laughing when he went outside in the sand early in the race the last night. Gonna miss seeing that.
