Who knows whose ready or not. Clearly they thought Levi would be good to go and it became clear very late he wasn’t. 

It’s a bummer for west coast unless your Deegan I guess. He’s probably even a bit bummed not having a couple contenders there.

Yep!  Think back to when you had a nasty case of the flu, or even Covid, then try to imagine racing A1.   Pretty much impossible, and dangerous to be around others on the team and maybe get them sick,  and also trying to manhandle a bike around a track while you're sick.     I highly doubt Levi and PC went through all the hassle of getting him there unless they had every intention of trying to race.  And now they're thinking he's probably going to be down for another week or two, which means the next race is also in jeopardy.  At that point, his chances of battling for the west title are severely diminished, so might as well switch to the East series.

I got h1n1 in 2009 and it ruined my life.

Hammaker just started riding recently and isn’t ready. Masterpool was off the bike for a long period in the offseason with an illness and only recently started doing his training. Cam had a somewhat big crash and was off the bike for a few weeks recently as well. Levi and G were solid and ready to go for a long time. Levi only started feeling sick earlier this week and it has gotten worse as time has gone on. Drew likely will line up at the next race. Not everything has to be a huge conspiracy.

Yeah I got sick the first dam day of the year and I'm still recovering from acute bronchitis. I know many others got sick with other shit as well, flu, COVID, bronchitis, norovirus. It's all rampant rn.

Same. I’ve been sick since Christmas and am just now getting over the same symptoms all the way over here in the north east…it sucks

Been sick for nearly three weeks now, wife finally made me go to urgent care this morning. Doctor said that there is a pretty nasty respiratory infection going around and my cough that won’t go away is actually pneumonia. It’s been quite a while since I’ve been this sick this long, and if I had to do anything remotely athletic I think it’d probably kill me!!!

Been sick for nearly three weeks now, wife finally made me go to urgent care this morning. Doctor said that there is a pretty nasty respiratory infection going around and my cough that won’t go away is actually pneumonia. It’s been quite a while since I’ve been this sick this long, and if I had to do anything remotely athletic I think it’d probably kill me!!!

I know two people who died the last month from pneumonia. It’s no joke.

Hammaker just started riding recently and isn’t ready. Masterpool was off the bike for a long period in the offseason with an illness and only recently started doing his training. Here me out before you all jump down my throat. If I were Mitch I would ask Masterpool and Drew go West even after missing the first round... Mitch put his neck out to sign him and lets be honest Tye isn't a podium guy especially with the stacked guys on East. After hearing Drew is faster I would run Both Drew and Tye in second round West.

 

Then he still has Levi, Hampshire and Mac on EAST.

 

Can he do that is my question?
