Any info on this bike ? Like the forks, shock r they MX tech revalved or special made ?  And the triple clamps who makes them ?  Thx. Very sharp with the white seat cover & plastic.  I like the stock gripper seats.  But I would like to get a yellow seat  custom cover with TUF. Letters   With yellow background & black numbers on side plates. The rest all red plastic. Yellow on red pops.

To the best of my knowledge it was built by Motowhips. Do not know the specifics.

Suspension looks to be coated stock units I'm guessing cerakote. Clamps are EZE I believe an Australian brand

Did you put a 2003 or newer swing arm on that bike or did the chain adjusters work with the original swing arm?

Awesome job on the resto and bringing this thing back to it's glory. As a kid i remember watching buddy, Denny and the rest of the guys race these things in ax in this 96-00 era. They had such a barky tone to them it was noticeable over rest of the bikes. Good luck with sale!

No it's a current frame like a 02 04 that's been modded to fit the 90 parts. Why the remote res on the shock was done.

Like @SmokinJoe439 said, its a later frame with a current ≈2024 YZ250 engine.  I built a bottom end from new OE parts with all my gearbox upgrades, then Jamie at Twisted put a fire breathing top end on it.  Duane (BBR) did all kinds of wizardry to make that frame work with the old bodywork and subframe including the modified shock.

The swing arm and linkage are from a late model four stroke.  I had the same rear-end setup on my 2010 YZ250 and now on my 2019 model.  I think Doug Dubach was the first one to do that swap, or at least the first to popularize it.

That's is an awesome build! Thanks for sharing the details how the bike was made.
