So there are a lot of rumors about this, I read that he broke his wrist, does someone know anything else?

I mean, won’t it all be rumors until it comes from Kawi or Prado himself?

He wasn't at the official Kawasaki photoshoot, no footage of him riding since the official announcement... (not even on the background of other videos of Ando or any PC guys)... we will see if he's at the FIM Gala tonight but... When there is a smoke... There is a Fire...

Oh man I hope not. Biggest hurdle was just escaping the spring without injury. SX strikes again

Huge bummer if this is true.  Really want to see the dude get momentum going.  Four weeks out from A1..mayyybe if the injury was earlier in November and not super severe he will be close to healed up? 🤞🏽

It's not just SX though, at some point this year more than half of the MXGP factory riders were out aswell. We are at a point where the speed is so high that injuries from crashes are almost inevitable and sadly not everyone is made out of rubber like Seewer..

Learning both SX, a new brand and the aluminium frame sure is a big challenge...

Imagine how terrifying it would be to be forced to blitz SX whoops for the first time…

All 9 of them....Prado is a two time world champion with factory backing and data behind him. I'm sure he will be fine.

If he has a broke wrist I doubt it was from whoops..

The dude raced SX this year without a lot of practice and was fine. Injuries happen any time, any where.
At this stage it’s all rumour and assumptions. Let’s hope they’re wrong.

What’s amazing are the ones that make it through their careers relatively unscathed- MC / Dungey etc

Wishing him a speedy and uncomplicated recovery!

it’s surprises me that more of the riders don’t wear wrist support braces. My son doesn’t get on his bike without his all sport dynamic wrist braces. It has three range of motion settings, and I keep his set on the last one which allows full range, but stops it from bending any further if he were to fall and put his hands out.

(Edit: talk to text spelling)

I wonder if spinning laps on a private supercross track is more dangerous or if putting in 35+2 at Glen Helen on a Thursday afternoon with no flaggers and 65's on the track is more dangerous. Genuine question

DITD last week was gnarly with a sketchy track and people everywhere. I don't doubt the Kawi track up the hill is gnarly, but it doesn't get much worse than a chewed up GH with tons of bikes on track

New series, new country, new bike, new team, this was going to be a tough transition regardless. Bummer if he’s hurt.  It does seem like riders have an easier time going to aluminum frame bikes from steel vs the other direction for some reason.

Also, I’m not so sure he wasn’t at the Kawi photo shoot…?

It's not SX that is a meat grinder, it's the preparation for it that gets everyone.

If there wasn’t an arm or wrist injury then why do they mention it?
