That JS hasn't been keeping us up-to-date with his recovery? I find myself reading TWMX, RacerX, VitalMX, and Motonews, every day, hoping that someone has something to say about his recovery.

I'm tired of the same old update from RacerXJ

James Stewart – Wrist
Comment: Stewart has been out since the third round of AMA Supercross with a wrist injury. According to the San Manuel Yamaha team manager Larry Brooks, Stewart is awaiting a final release from his doctors before he begins riding again. At that time he will determine his future racing plans....

Why can't someone get some legit information about his condition? Did he break his scaphoid bone? Does he have avascular necrosis of that bone? Is he really on a timeline where he might be able to ride some of the nations? Is he waiting for his brother to join the series, only to have a miraculous recovery and be able to race?

I want to see JS on the track, he's my favorite rider and one of the most talented riders on the planet. However, the cloak of secrecy that surround his injury/recovery is finally getting to me....

Yes.

He doesn't owe us jack squat but for what it's worth, his image would be stronger if he could get some exposure. By that I mean like commentating at the nationals a little bit. I don't watch his show so that is a different type of exposure.

Please sign with a team that races all season James? It is a waste of your talent to not be out there.

hopefully James does like Windham did back in 02-03 when he took a couple years off then came back more motivated than ever.

I agree. Someone in PR is completely failing and should be fired. I am a fan but this no update program is having a negative effect on me. I am feeling like James has turned his back on the sport. I could be wrong. I am probably wrong but PR needs to make sure I don't feel that way in the first place. The fact that they havn't , makes me feel like I could be right.

Maybe they have figured out that James can just miss the whole season and come back and win, and everything will be fine with the fans. that is a stupid chance to take. Updates would head off any BS speculation. Again ,PR= FAIL.

With all this off time I can only imagine what Bubba and Sorby have brewed up for season 2 of Bubbas World! Maybe some of questions will be answered through the lame show?

Yeah I'm a bit disappointed.

Vital had a nice face to face with him (I don't think it was all that long ago,) and that was cool.

I think a big part of it has to do with this reality (not so much?) show. I think that many of us that love watching races, don't like seeing that its not about racing. It has very little to do with racing.

I grew up in the same time period and actually raced him (if you want to call it that) a few times. Obviously, got smoked or maybe you would know how I am, so I'm a little partial to Stewie because he was the kid then, and he is the man now. I like to imagine what I would have done with that type of speed and skill. It is easy to say that I would have won everything in sight and had a long career whooping ass in SX and MX.

However, I see that there are unknown variables when you are that man. If you can put aside half the episode of Sorby making chicks do very sexist things for most of the show, it becomes clear that you don't just race...there is a ton of shit...more than any of us know. Its so easy to say "well he should do this" and "he should do that."

I'll go to the point, though. I feel like he doesn't just say it. There is some spin on is what is happening at the L & M camp. I understand you can't always say "hey we are talking to KTM," or whatever. You get twitter updates that say "I'm gonna love being out there," or something to that effect, then you see a show about him just wanting to take a break. Hey, the guy is injured...and that sucks. You go as fast as he does and you are lucky to only break a single bone. It's bad, and people talk like he never was hurt this year.

My only disappointment comes from the lack of consistent and reliable information.

No one knows, because no one asks. It's easy to pick up a phone and ask, but that hasn't happened.

Not really, he signed a SX only deal and he won't be back until the next SX season. For him this is the off season, no reason for him to post updates about his recovery, except to keep chatter going on the message boards.

Now if he was racing the Outdoors and got injured and we were wondering if he would be back for the next round, or what round would he back for, then that would be a different story. That is not the case, so for JS fans, you just need to sit and wait until SX starts again.

Get over it. If he gave a shit about his fans you'd know whats going on. period. All the drama surrounding him returning to the Nationals does one thing and thats feed that Massive ego of his.

I'm kind of past caring about Bubba now. And thats as a fan. Just too frustrating trying to follow his career with all the BS and unnecessary spin that surrounds virtually everything he does. if he signed up to a real team that raced the full season and just rode his bike he'd win so many fans back. Sounds so simple eh!

nothing is more exciting than a hungry bubba.i hate to be the one to tell you guys this but you'll never get to see the hungry bubba ever again. his motivation is gone and he will struggle from here on out. its all in plain view

It's funny that in this thread there is concerns about not enough information and in the other one there are a few complaining that he tweets about riding and wanting to be out there too much.

Summer vacation? The dude has only raced what....4 times since 09 right? That's a helluva vacation! he come back and wipe the floor with the other racers but i think his rep is tarnished for the rest of his career! But he doesnt care what i think!

Did he not just ask? What's wrong with responding to fans on here who are looking for the information? Not trying to stir the pot but why is it unacceptable to answer simple PR qustions on here?

JS is becoming like JLaw, has a ton of talent but hasnt used any of it in the past few years. Has done a full series on a year and half but still makes more then most of the people racing full time, its kinda sad.

You might want to look at a calendar.

What is sad is that you are comparing JS to JLaw.
